UP DGME Releases NEET PG 2024 Round 3 Counselling Seat Matrix, check details
Uttar Pradesh- The Uttar Pradesh Director General of Medical Education (UPDGME) has released the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) Round 3 Counselling for the academic year 2024-25 for MD, MS (Medical) and DNB seat matrix.
As per the seat matrix, a total of 880 seats are vacant in NEET PG Counselling for MD, MS (Medical) 2024 and a total of 53 seats are vacant in NEET PG Counselling for DNB 2024. The seat matrix has been released on the official website of UPDGME.
Meanwhile, through a notice, UPDGME has issued important information regarding the choice filling for online counselling of the third round of UP NEET PG-2024 (MD/MS/DNB) Courses. Below are the points that candidates need to remember while doing the NEET PG round 3 counselling 2024 choice filling and locking process-
1 Candidates seeking admission to MD/MS courses in private sector medical colleges/universities are advised to fill and lock their choices only after obtaining complete information about the concerned college at their own level before choice filling.
2 Candidates seeking admission to seats in private sector medical colleges should fill their choices only after reviewing the fee structure of the minority/non-minority colleges/institutions/universities available on the departmental websites.
4 The candidate will fill the choice online on the basis of preference for admission to government/private sector medical colleges. The candidate should fill the choice of only those colleges in which he is interested in taking admission. There is no limit for online choice filling.
5 It is mandatory to lock the choices after online choice filling. In case of not locking the choices, the candidate will not be included in the seat allocation process. The entire responsibility for this will be of the candidate himself.
6 After Choice Lock is done by the candidate, no change or alteration can be made to it nor will any application received in this regard at the Directorate General be considered.
7 Candidates admitted through the first/second round of counselling, who are interested in reshuffling of college/course in the third round of counselling, should not fill in the choice of the college/course in which they have taken admission. In case the previously admitted seat is re-allocated, the candidate will have to appear at the nodal centre and complete the admission process as before.
8 If any other seat is allotted to the candidate as per the option given by the candidate for re-allocation, then the previously allotted seat will automatically become vacant and will be allotted to some other candidate. In case there is no reallocation, the seat occupied by the candidate earlier will remain as it is.
9 At the time of choice filling in counselling of the 3rd round, the unallotted/not reported and resigned seats of the 2nd round will be displayed to the candidates as clear-cut vacancies.
10 In the third round of counselling, candidates will also be shown the option of Seat Against Cancellation (SAC). SAC seats are a type of virtual vacancy, under which at the time of choice filling, candidates will be shown the option of other reserved category seats in addition to the vacant seats of their category. If any seat of the reserved category remains vacant at the time of the allotment process, then the allotment process will be completed by merging such seats.
