UP NEET PG Counselling 2021: Check out guidelines, tentative seat matrix
UP: In a written notice, Director General of Medical Education (DGME) U.P. has notified about the NEET PG counselling process for candidates. All the concerned candidates can take note of the guidelines and tentative seat matrix details mentioned below.
As per DGME under UP NEET PG 2021, M.D., MS, Diploma, DNB, DNB Diploma counseling will happen isolated. The candidates are requested to pay the registration and security fees. Both the fees have to be paid separately.
The candidates who are willing to participate in the online counseling for UP NEET PG 2021, M.D., MS, Diploma, DNB, DNB Diploma then if they have through All India Quota entered 15% seats to UP medical colleges and have submitted the caste certificate in the specified format will be eligible for reservations. The others will not be eligible for reservations and will be considered unreserved.
The last date of UP NEET PG 2021 filling the online registration for counseling is 17th January 2022 till 2:00 pm. It has been noticed that certain candidates are facing issues in paying the security money after the online registration. For this reason, the last date of paying the money has been extended to 18th January 2022.
Guidelines issued by UP DGME for counseling -
- The online counseling UP Governance with the help of fixed Technical Institute State Information and Science Center is being carried out by Director General Medical Education and Training.
- If the entry is taken through any unauthorized institute or individual, it will not be considered. If any complaint raises in this regard, it will be the full responsibility of the candidate, not DGME.
- The candidates who have cleared the NEET PG exam are eligible for counseling for UP NEET PG.
- The candidate will have to do separate registration for the P.G. course (primary DNB and Diploma DNB).
- The candidates will have to pay Rs 3000 for registration and Rs 30000 for security which they can pay through Net Banking / Debit /Credit Card.
- The other candidates of UP who belong to other backward classes while completing the entry process will have to submit the proof of the backward class, which was made on 1st April 2021 or after that, or else it will not be considered.
- Reservations-related proofs documents will be accepted only if made according to the guidelines of the UP Government except for the disability certificate.
- PMSS candidates whose list has been prepared by Director General Medical and Wellness Survey will be considered.
- For the in-service candidate, 50% of the seat is reserved.
- In the 2nd round of counseling, if in-service candidates are not there, it will be filled by open category.
- Candidates who, while filling the registration fee for the 1st round of counseling done with registration and don't attend the 1st round of counseling, can participate in the 2nd round of counseling.
- Candidates who have not registered for 1st round of counseling can register for 2nd round of counseling.
DGME has also released a detailed fee structure for MD/MS across 5 medical colleges in the state (Teerthankar Mahaveer Medical College, Research Centre, Moradabad, Career Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital Lucknow, Integral Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Integral University, F.H. Medical College & Hospital, Etmadpur, Agra and Era's Lucknow Medical College & Hospital, Lucknow).
NEET PG tentative seat matrix has also been released for 1st round of counseling for private medical colleges. According to the seat matrix, there are 69 courses in total, which include recognized, permitted, and un-recognized courses.
The total number of seats available is 1385. In which recognized seats are 620 and permitted seats are 765. MS SURG (Permitted) has the highest number of seats which is 89 seats. In contrast, M.D. Medicine (Permitted) has 83 and M.D. Anaesth has 78 seats. Rest all are below 78 seats.
The tentative seat matrix for NEET PG 2021 for MBBS DNB seats (primary DNB) indicates that there are 11 courses. The total number of seats available is 49. The highest number of seats has been allotted to General Medicine which is 29. Whereas General Surgery has 12 and Anesthesiology and Pediatrics has 10 seats each. Rest all are below 10 seats.
The tentative seat matrix for NEET PG 2021 for MBBS Diploma (DNB Diploma) indicates there are 8 courses. The total number of seats is 88. The highest number of seats has been allotted to Obs & Gyne and Pediatrics, which is 40 seats. Rest all are below 40 seats.
