Uttar Pradesh- Director General, Medical Education and Training (DGME) Uttar Pradesh has extended the last date for completion of the admission process of candidates allotted under the 3rd round of online counselling of UP National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) for the academic year 2024.
According to the notice issued in this regard, UPDGME has now extended the last date for completion of the admission process for the third round of online counselling under UP NEET PG 2024 to February 10, 2025. However, as per the original schedule, the last date to complete the admission process was scheduled till today i.e. 08 February 2025.
Therefore, candidates must ensure to complete their admission process within the new prescribed date.
The third round of online counselling for admission to postgraduate courses i.e. MD, MS, Diploma and DNB in ​​government, autonomous, private medical colleges, institutes, universities and hospitals under medical health started from 24 January 2025 and was scheduled to end by today. In which the process of depositing the online registration fee and security money was started from 24 January 2025, and after that, online choice filling on 27 January 2025, the result of seat allotment on 3 February 2025.
The Department of Medical Education plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. The department also has a role to play in establishing and maintaining well-equipped teaching institutions, which are the premier referral centres from peripheral hospitals. Research is another area of activity for the medical education department. The directorate facilitates comprehensive medical and dental education via various medical, dental and paramedical colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
