Weeding out joined NEET candidates- MCC issues notice for state counselling authorities
New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a notice regarding the weeding out of joined candidates. The notice is for state counselling authorities regarding the data shared by the candidates for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Graduate (NEET UG) Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling 2024.
As per directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the filtering out of joined candidates is mandatory by MCC as well as state counselling authorities before the stray vacancy round of UG counselling.
Therefore, in view of the above, it is informed that the data of candidates who joined upto Stray Vacancy Round of state counselling may be shared by the DMEs/ State Counselling Authorities on the data sharing portal of intramcc so that candidates already joined in state may be weeded out before the seat processing of Special Stray Vacancy Round of UG counselling 2024 being conducted by MCC of DGHS. The data may be shared upto tomorrow i.e. 22 November 2024, 11:00 A.M.
Meanwhile, recently MCC has released the list of vacant seats for NEET UG Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling 2024. As per the vacant seat positions released by the MCC, a total of 319 seats are vacant in NEET UG Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling 2024 for admission into (MBBS/BDS/B.Sc Nursing). The counselling process started on 20th November 2024 which will end on 30th November 2024.
The MCC is conducting the NEET UG Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling 2024 for admission into (MBBS/BDS/B.Sc Nursing) as some seats are still lying vacant due to non-joining/non-reporting after the completion of the stray vacancy round of UG counselling 2024.
