JIPMER Announces Conduction Of Tropical Parasitology Prize Examination For Interns
Puducherry: The Tropical Parasitology Prize examination for interns will be conducted on 22nd October 2022, announced the Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER).
All the interested interns can give their names in the office of the Microbiology Department on or before 18th October 2022.
Every year the examination is conducted by the Department of Microbiology, JIPMER. The examination consists of 100 MCQs on the subject of Parasitology. The exam will be conducted on the 1st Floor, Department of Microbiology, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The examination winner will be awarded the Tropical Parasitology Prize on the annual day of 2023.
The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research is a medical school located in Pondicherry. It is an institute of national importance (INI) and a tertiary care referral hospital. It is under the direct administrative control of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Indian Government, with autonomy to run its internal administration. The courses include undergraduate, postgraduate, super specialty, fellowships, PhD programs, post-basic diplomas, and certified courses.
JIPMER originated in the year 1823 as the Ecole de Medicine de Pondicherry, established by the French Government. It was renamed Dhanvantari Medical College in 1956 at the time of the de facto transfer of Pondicherry to the Government of India. It was established on its current campus in 1964 and is spread over 1922 acres.
Medical Dialogues team recently reported that JIPMER had released the information brochure regarding the admission procedure for MD/MS/MDS/Integrated 6-year MCh courses in July 2022 session for first counselling. The selected candidates can report till 20th August 2022 from 9:00 am. However, they must report before 10:00 am at Exam Hall - 3, 4th Floor, JIPMER Academic Centre (JAC). For candidates who choose Option 1 in the first counselling (accepted the seat), the admission process will span over a minimum of two working days.
