JIPMER invites Online Applications for proposals to Institutional Ethics Committee Interventional Studies for August 2022, Check out Details
Puducherry: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has invited online applications to submit proposals to the Institutional Ethics Committee for Interventional Studies (IECIS) for August 2022.
As per the notice, all Faculties, PhD scholars, PG and UG students can submit research proposals approved by JSAC/PGRMC/SCTRC/GJ-STRAUS for approval by Institutional Ethics Committee Interventional Studies. The application has to be filled out online by using the link https://iecmanager.org/institution/283. The soft copy of the signed declaration form, consent forms and scientific proposal must be uploaded when filling out the application.
One original hard copy of the following documents is required to be submitted to Member-Secretary, Institutional Ethics Committee Interventional studies (IEC-IS) at Institute Ethics Committee office, First floor, administrative block, JIPMER –
1. Covering letter
2. JSAC/ UGRMC/PGRMC certificate
3. GCP certificate of student & guide
4. Original signed research proposal (JSAC ver. August 2020) / PGRMC proposal dated 15.11.2020)
5. Printout of the online IEC application
6. Signed Original Declaration form
7. Informed Consent Documents (PIS, Consent forms, Assent form etc.)
8. Data collection proformas, Questionnaires etc.
9. CV of PI / Co-PI (s) / Guide/ Co-Guide (s)
10. Any other documents
The procedure and guidelines to upload a proposal on the e-EC portal are available on the JIPMER website https://jipmer.edu.in/research/research-committees/institute-ethics-committee/important-information. JIPMER has instructed the applicants to type the hard copy using both sides of A4 size paper, in 12 font size with 1.5 spacing and page numbering.
The last date of submission of proposals to reach the office of the undersigned for consideration of approval by the Institutional Ethics Committee Interventional studies for June is on or before 10th August 2022. The proposal submitted before the last date will be discussed at the IEC Interventional committee meeting. The meeting is scheduled for 26th August 2022.
