JIPMER issues notice on PG Orientation Programme for January 2025 Batch-2, Details
Puducherry- Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is going to conduct a Postgraduate Orientation Programme for the first-year postgraduate degree (MD, MS, DM, MCh (6 Year Course) & MDS) students admitted in the January 2025 session (Batch-2). In this regard, JIPMER has issued a circular announcing the date of the Programme and some important information for the HODs.
As per the circular, the Postgraduate Orientation Programme is going to be conducted on 05th, 17th and 18th March 2025 in the Department of Medical Education, JIPMER Academic Centre, JIPMER. Therefore, the registration for the Programme will start promptly at 8.30 am on 05 March 2025.
Through the circular, all the Heads of Departments are requested to inform the first-year MD, MS, DM, MCh (6-year course) & MDS students who have joined in the second and final round of seat allotment and permit them to attend the programme. lt is also requested not to post them on night duty before and during the programme days and inform all unit heads to relieve the residents on time, which will enable them to attend all sessions on time.
Along with this, all the Heads of Departments are also being requested to send the guide and PG dissertation topic details of the students as per the format through email on or before 24 February 2025.
The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) is a medical school located in Pondicherry. It is an institute of national importance (INI) and a tertiary care referral hospital. It is under the direct administrative control of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Indian Government, with autonomy to run its internal administration.
