JIPMER to hold 11th Convocation 2022 For MBBS, MD, MS, DM, MCh medicos on August 20, Check out all details

Puducherry: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has announced the conduction of the 11th convocation 2022 for Medical (UG, PG), Super Specialty (DM, MCh) Nursing (BSc, MSc), PhD, and MPH courses.

The 11th convocation 2022 will be held on 20th August 2022 for MBBS, MD/MS, PDF, DM/MCh/ & PhD courses and on 21st August 2022 for BSc (Nursing), MSc (Nursing), and MPH courses. The venue for the convocation will be Dr API Abdul Kalam JIPMER Auditorium, JIPMER Campus, Puducherry – 605006.

Students are required to download the convocation application, which is enclosed in the notice below. They have to submit the filled-in application along with the online payment receipt and send it to "The Academic Section, JIPMER, Dhanvantri Nagar, Puducherry-605 006, on or before 31st July 2022.

The eligibility criteria for convocation –

1. MBBS - Batch of 2016 (Internship Completed up to 30th June 2022).

2. MD/MS - Completed degree requirement during December 2021 & June 2022.

3. DM/MCh - Completed degree requirement during December 2021 & June 2022.

4. PDF/PDCC- Completed degree requirement during October 2021 & June 2022.

5. BSc (Nursing), MSc (Nursing) and PBDN - Completed during May 2021 to December 2021.

6. MPH & PGD -Completed the degree requirement during July 2021 to December 2021.

7. PhD - Completed the degree requirement during November 2021 to April 2022.

The students applying for convocation will have to pay a fee of Rs 1500 through SBI Collect on the official website (www.jipmer.edu.in => Online Payments - Convocation Processing Fees). They will have to attach the payment receipt with the application.

The students need to bring Rs. 500/ towards caution deposit on the day of convocation for hiring the Gown, failing which, they will not be allowed to receive the degree on stage.

The rehearsal of the convocation procedure will be held on 19th August 2022 at 2.30 pm for MBBS, MD/MS, PDF, DM/MCh/ & PhD courses and on 20th August 2022 at 3.00 pm for BSc (Nursing), MSc (Nursing) and MPH in Dr API Abdul Kalam JIPMER Auditorium. The student present during rehearsal will only be allowed for the final convocation.
