Laurels to Dept of nursing Services of JIPMER at SINNCON 2023
Puducherry: The faculty of Nursing Service of Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) received awards at the 43rd Annual Conference of the Society of Indian Neuroscience Nurses – SINNCON 2023, held at Mayfair Convention Centre, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The conference was held from 15th December 2023 to 17th December 2023. A detailed notification has been issued regarding the same.
A team of A team of 11 nurses, including SNO and NOs, participated as a delegate in the 43rd Annual Conference of the Society of Indian Neuroscience Nurses – SINNCON 2023. Out of these 11 nurses, 3 nurses have won awards for the faculty of Nursing Service.
The main aim of the conference was to focus on the topic related to current concepts and breakthroughs in neurosciences. It was based on a Scientific paper presentation, Scientific poster presentation, Elocution, Neuro quiz, Exhibition, and Essay competition.
Award details -
Mrs UMARANI P, Senior Nursing Officer, SSB NS OT, has won the Third prize in the Essay competition (Titled –Epilepsy –Home Care). Awarded with the certificate and a cash prize of Rs.1000.
Mr. SANTHOSHKUMAR.M, Nursing Officer, TC OT, has been awarded First prize in Elocution, Second prize in the Essay competition (Titled – Neuro Nursing innovative research areas), Third Prize in Poster Competition and Model Exhibit (Theme: Prevention of Neuro Trauma). Awarded with certificates and a cash prize of Rs.5000.
Mr. PERIYANNAN.S, Nursing Officer, SSB NS OT, has received First prize in the Essay competition (Titled – Prevention of Neuro Trauma) and Model Exhibit (Theme: Comprehensive Stoke unit). Awarded with certificates and a cash prize of Rs.3000.
The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research is a medical school located in Pondicherry. It is an institute of national importance (INI) and a tertiary care referral hospital. It is under the direct administrative control of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Indian Government, with autonomy to run its internal administration.
