Maharashtra Govt, MUHS to jointly construct Medical College Hospital, Minister suggests expedition
Nashik: The medical college and hospital building will be constructed in collaboration with the state government and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection and District Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal has suggested that a complete plan should be prepared by speeding up the work of this medical college and hospital.
Mr. Bhujbal was speaking when the building of the Medical College Hospital at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and the work done by the Maharashtra Post Graduate Medical Education and Research Institute were reviewed In the central hall of the Collectorat office .

District Collector Suraj Mandhare, Municipal Commissioner Kailas Jadhav, Superintendent of Police Sachin Patil, Chief Executive Officer Leena Bansod, Municipal Corporation Deputy Commissioner Manoj Ghode-Patil, University of Health Sciences Coordinator Dr. Sandeep Gundre, Superintendent Engineer, Public Works Department, SN Rajbhoj, Praveen Daroli, Superintendent Engineer, MSEDCL, Siddharth Tambe, Executive Engineer, NV Kalaskar, Finance and Accounts Officer, University of Health Sciences, Sandeep Kulkarni, Legal Officer were present.
Mr. Bhujbal further said that a decision has been taken in the meeting of the Chief Secretary that 60 per cent funds will be provided by the state government and 40 per cent by the University of Health Sciences for the construction of medical college and hospital building.
Work on this project should start accordingly. Also, the building should be well designed so that future projects can be exemplary. Instructions to appoint a project management consultant at the earliest to prepare the plan of the building. Bhujbal has given it to the concerned officers.
A medical college and hospital building should be designed to guide the new project. Also, the University of Health Sciences should follow up to complete the necessary matters, so that the work can be done expeditiously. Also, if there is any problem, the administration will extend all cooperation, said District Collector Suraj Mandhare.
