Tanda Medical College being developed as excellent institute, number of specialist doctors will increase: RS Bali
Kangra: The Dr Rajendra Prasad Medical College Tanda also known as the Tanda Medical College is being developed as an excellent medical college so that people can get better health facilities, the Tourism Corporation Chairman Cabinet Rank Minister RS Bali stated recently.
He said that the number of specialist doctors will increase at Tanda Medical College so that patients can get better treatment facilities. He said that the work of paramedical staff is incomparable for any health institution. He said that, under the guidance of the Chief Minister of the state, continuous efforts are being made to strengthen the health facilities in the entire state.
According to UNI report, speaking as the chief guest at the Genesis 2024 program organised by paramedical student organisations in the auditorium of Tanda Medical College on Saturday, R. S. Bali said that the nursing school at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College has been upgraded to the status of a nursing college. Along with this, a lactation management centre will also be opened for infants and mothers at Tanda Medical College to encourage breastfeeding of newborns.

He said that effective steps will be taken to ensure that the paramedical staff also gets better facilities so that the paramedical staff can ensure their cooperation in the care and treatment of patients in a better way. He said that kidney transplantation has been done successfully at Tanda Medical College recently, for which he congratulated the entire team. He said that the patients are also getting the facility of heart and valve transplantation at Medical College Tanda; this is also a great achievement of the college, reports UNI
He spoke about the achievements Tanda Medical College has made since its construction to date. Earlier, the acting principal of the college, Suman Yadav, welcomed the chief guest and provided detailed information about the Genesis program.
On this occasion, paramedical trainees also presented cultural programs. The chief guest honoured the participants of the cultural programs by giving them prizes. On this occasion, various dignitaries, including Additional Director Dr. Major Avnindra Kumar and former MLA Surendra Kaku, were present.
