As per a news report by argus, the medical student suddenly fell ill after participating in a feast organized by final-year students the night before his death. Following this, he was immediately taken to the hospital around midnight due to severe loose motion and vomiting but, unfortunately, could not be saved.
After being informed about the incident, the local police reached the spot and commenced the probe. The police are investigating the case to ascertain the circumstances surrounding Srikanta's death. Further information is expected to provide more clarity on the situation.
