NBEMS Invites Applications for Post MBBS Diploma Course Accreditation: Check our details
New Delhi- The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBMES) is inviting applications from the hospitals seeking accreditation with NBEMS for Post MBBS two-year Diploma courses in the above 09 Broad Specialty programmes.
The applications are invited for 9 post MBBS courses Diploma courses in Broad Specialties including Anesthesiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Family Medicine, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), Radio Diagnosis, Tuberculosis & Chest Disease and Emergency Medicine
The NBE has also released a detailed Information Bulletin for Accreditation with National Board of Examinations in Medical Science. The application can be submitted online by hospitals meeting the requirements from today till 30-09-2024. The last date for the submission of the hard copy of the application 15-10-2024. The information brochure also details out the minimum accreditation criteria for hospitals and medical institutions
The application forms have to be submitted only in online mode through the Online Accreditation Application Portal (OAAP) which can be accessed through the NBEMS official website.

On this, NBEMS has released an information Bulletin, detailing the filling up of the application form, accreditation fee, Courses etc. Candidates are requested to read the information Bulletin carefully before applying for accreditation.
FILLING UP OF THE APPLICATION FORM
Applicant hospitals/institutes shall be required to submit the application form online through the Online Accreditation Application Portal (OAAP) as per the steps indicated below.
1 Create a User – Online.
2 Create a profile of the applicant hospital – Online. The hospital profile will be verified by NBEMS. The applicant hospital cannot apply unless the profile is verified by NBEMS.
3 Fill out the online application form.
4 Complete the application form and upload it Online.
5 Fee payment through online payment portal – Online.
6 Print and submit the hard copy of the Application form – Offline.
ACCREDITATION FEE
1 Applicant hospital/institute seeking fresh accreditation or renewal of accreditation in any speciality is required to pay an accreditation fee of Rs. 2,00,000/- Plus GST @18% for each speciality. The online application form fee for each speciality is Rs. 3,000/- Plus GST @5%. The application fee to be paid for each application form is tabulated below-

Meanwhile, it is to be noted that defence Institutions are exempted from submitting Accreditation Fees of Rs. 2,00,000/-. However, the Application Form Fees of Rs. 3,000/- + GST @ 5% shall be required to be paid.
2 Applicant hospital/institute will be able to pay the above-mentioned fee only through the Online Payment Portal of NBEMS. Payment made through any other portal will not be accepted.
3 The application form will only be considered as successfully submitted only if the accreditation fees have been paid successfully to NBEMS. NBEMS will not be responsible for any transaction failure or delay in the processing of transactions.
4 Partial refund of the Accreditation Fee is admissible under the following conditions-

1 | 90% of total fee | i If the application is withdrawn by the applicant hospital/institute within 4 weeks of the last date of online application submission to NBEMS. ii Incomplete application which is summarily rejected without subjecting it to a detailed “Pre-assessment processing”. |
2 | 50% of total fee | i If the application is withdrawn by the applicant hospital/institute after 4 weeks of the last date for online application submission to NBEMS but before the assessment of the applicant department by NBEMS appointed assessor. ii If the application is rejected at the pre-assessment level (before assessment of the department by NBEMS appointed assessor) due to nonfulfilment of minimum accreditation criteria and/or the hospital fails to submit definite compliance within the stipulated time (if so required) to the Pre - Assessment deficiencies communicated to the hospital by NBEMS. |
3 | No refund shall be admissible. | Once the assessment of the applicant department has been conducted by NBEMS |
Meanwhile, it is to be noted that the application Form Fee of Rs. 3,000/- + GST @ 5% on the Application Form Fee (i.e. a total of Rs. 3150/-) is non-refundable under any circumstance. Along with this, GST paid by the hospital will be refunded proportionately.
5 The accreditation fees will not be carried forward to a future date and/or for another application.
6 Application forms submitted to NBEMS without payment of Accreditation Fees including GST will not be processed.
