IP University invites applications from students for availing special grace marks, drop paper for forthcoming convocation
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has invited applications from medicos for availing special grace marks/drop paper for the forthcoming convocation.
This is for information of all such students who are eligible for award of special grace marks as per the "Regulation for Grace Marks in the University Examinations" and wants to drop paper on the basis of minimum credits secured (as per scheme) that they can now submit their applications for availing special grace marks/drop paper for the forthcoming convocation.
The eligible students who wish to avail the special grace marks/drop paper for issuance of consolidated Marksheet and Provisional Certificate for becoming eligible for award of Degree Certificate in the forthcoming Convocation of the University should submit an application duly recommended by the Dean/ Director/ Principal of respective USS/ Institute/ College latest by 10.03.2022, said the notice.
Applications received after 10.03.2022 will not be processed for award of final degree in the year and will be considered for next year Convocation, the university notice read.
Moreover, these "Late Applications" considered for the issuance of Provisional Certificate and Consolidated marksheet only, as per practice, it added.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is first University established in 1998 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999 The University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act.
It is a teaching and affiliating University with the explicit objective of facilitating and promoting "studies, research and extension work in emerging areas of higher education with focus on professional education, for example engineering, technology, management studies, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, education, law, etc. and also to achieve excellence in these and connected fields and other matters connected therewith or incidental thereto."
