KNRUHS notifies on conduct of MD, MS, PG Diploma, SS exams October 2020

Hyderabad: Through recent notices, the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has informed about the conduct of MD, MS, PG Diploma, SS examinations which are scheduled to be held in the month of October 2020.

For Conduct of PG DIPLOMA examinations in the month of October 2020

Eligibility to appear for P.G Diploma Examination

➢ The PG Diploma students who took admissions in the colleges of Telangana State and whose admissions are approved by the KNRUHS during the academic year 2018-19 and who have completed two years of the study period (24 months) including period of examinations are eligible to appear for the ensuing examination. The principal concerned should submit study period completion certificate of the students.

➢ The students who have failed in the previously held exams are eligible to appear for these exams.

➢ As per Medical Council of India Regulations (Amended up to June 2017), the following sub-clause is added after clause 13.8 (c) in terms of Gazette Notification dated. 09.12.2009 and the same is as under.

➢ A postgraduate student of a postgraduate degree course in broad specialties/Super Specialties would be required to present one poster presentation, to read one paper at a national/state conference and to present one research the paper which should be published/accepted for publication/sent for publication during the period of his postgraduate studies so as to make him eligible to appear at the postgraduate degree examinations."

➢ The students should put in academic year wise compulsory attendance of 80 per cent i.e., 292 working days in each year.

➢ The study period of those candidates who availed maternity leave up to 120 days (4 months) will be extended to the extent of maternity leave availed. They will be eligible to appear for the examination only after completion of two years of the study period (duration of course) as per the Medical Council of India Regulations.

➢ The study period duration of course of the candidates is extendable in cases of availed of Medical Leave / Maternity Leave / Any Other Leave / Absence beyond 30 days in each year.

➢ The cutoff date for calculation of Attendance up to 31.08.2020, PG Students are permitted to avail preparation time for University exam after cutoff date i.e., 31.08.2020.

➢ The uploading of the Attendance of the candidates from 05.09.2020 to 10.09.2020.

➢ The confirmation date for the Attendance of your college shall be on 12.09.2020.

Payment of Examination fee: Rs. 5,000/-

Rs. 300/- Memorandum of Marks

Rs. 400/- Provisional Certificate

Rs. 350/- Processing Fee

Rs.5700/- for Supplementary candidates

Rs.6050/-Candidates appearing for first time

Note: Processing fee for the students appearing for the first time only (No processing fee for Supplementary students)

I) Without fine

From 14.09.2020 to 19.09.2020

II) With a fine of Rs. 200/-

From 20.09.2020 to 22.09.2020

III) With a fine of Rs. 100/- per day in addition to Rs.200/-

23.09.2020 & 24.09.2020

Payment of examination fee through offline from 25.09.2020 to 27.09.2020 with a fine of Rs.5000/- per candidate in addition with their regular examination fee with fine as prescribed in the notification.

Instructions to be followed in view of COVID-19:

➢ Thermal Screening at the entry of the examination hall is mandatory.

➢ Wearing of the mask is mandatory for staff and students.

➢ The social distance of four to six feet between students is mandatory.

➢ Examination halls shall be sanitized before and after the examination.

➢ It is advised to keep a stock of face masks and sanitizers for the use of students and staff.

For Conduct of PG DEGREE examinations in the month of October 2020
Eligibility to appear for P.G DEGREE Examination
➢ The PG Degree students who took admissions in the colleges of Telangana State and whose admissions are approved by the KNRUHS during the academic year 2017-18 and who shall complete three years of the study period (36 months) including period of examinations are eligible to appear for the ensuing examination. Further, the candidates admitted in P.G. Degree with one-year exemption (those who have completed P.G. Diploma course) for the academic year 2018-19 are also eligible to write the examinations. The principal concerned should submit the study period completion certificate of the students.
➢ The students who have failed in the Previously held exams are eligible to appear for these exams.
➢ Approval of dissertation work is an essential precondition for a candidate to appear in the University examination. The Candidates those who have already submitted their dissertations earlier to this University need not submit again.

For Conduct of Super Speciality examinations in the month of October 2020
Eligibility to appear for super speciality examination:
1. The Super Speciality students who have been admitted into the Medical colleges affiliated to KNRUHS in Telangana State, whose admissions are approved by the KNRUHS during the academic year 2017-18 are eligible to appear examinations in the month of October 2020.
2. The eligibility to appear for the examination only after completion of three years of the study period (duration of course) as per Medical Council of India Regulations and 80 % attendance academic year wise.
3. Further, the students failed, detained and not registered for the Super Speciality examination, who were admitted by the KNRUHS for the academic year 2016-17 batch are eligible to appear for the exam.
4. The study period of those candidates who availed maternity leave will be extended to the extent of maternity leave availed.
5. The study period duration of course of the candidates is extendable in cases of availed of Medical Leave / Maternity Leave / Any Other Leave / Absence beyond 30 days in each year.
6. The cutoff date for calculation of the percentage of attendance is 31.08.2020
A) Upload of Attendance:
I. The uploading of Attendance percentage of the candidates from 05.09.2020 to 10.09.2020.
II. The confirmation date for Attendance is 12.09.2020.
Payment of Examination fee: Rs. 8,000/-
Memorandum of Marks - Rs. 300/-
Provisional Certificate - Rs. 400/-
Processing Fee - Rs. 350/-
Total Rs. 9050/-
Note: Processing fee for the students appearing for the first time only (No processing fee for Supplementary students)
I. Last Date Without Fine From 14.09.2020 to 19.09.2020.
II. Last Date With a Fine of Rs. 200/- From 20.09.2020 to 22.09.2020.
III. Last Date With a Fine of Rs. 100/- on 23.09.2020 & 24.09.2020.
