MUHS releases fresh dates for UG Medical Exams
Nashik: Revising the dates of Undergraduate Medical Examination once again, the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has issued new dates for 2020 winter examinations of Undergraduate first, second and third-year students of Health Sciences courses.
As per the new notice dated 07.04.2021, issued by MUHS, the UG winter 2020 examinations would commence on April 19. They were earlier scheduled at March 23. The examinations would continue until May 12. The exam got deferred due to technical reasons.
More than 45,000 students of government and private health science colleges affiliated to MUHS are supposed to appear for UG first, second, and third-year examinations for the MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS courses.
The notice also mentions that the examinations for certificate course in Modern Pharmacology and Supplementary exams for First year MBBS students would be held between May 3 to May 7 and June 24 to June 30 respectively.
The notice has given information regarding the summer 2021 exam for modern mid-level service providers and PG of medical faculty courses as well. The modern mid-level service provider examination would commence on May 3 and continue up to May 7. On the other hand, the examination of PG medical faculty course would start from June 24 and continue till June 30.

While commenting on these upcoming examinations held amidst increasing Covid cases, Ajit Pathak, controller of examinations of MUHS informed the Times of India that like earlier exams, MUHS would ensure that Covid-safety protocols are in place at exam centres. The examinees and the invigilators would have to strictly follow Covid appropriate behaviour.
Further, Pathak has appealed to the examinees not to believe any information or rumour related to exams circulated on social media. He has advised the students to visit the University's official website for authentic information. He has further directed the colleges to inform the students about the forthcoming examination, mentioned the daily.
