MUHS To Hold Additional Mini Convocation, instructions issued for students, all details here
Maharashtra- The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) through a circular has informed all the Deans/Principals and students of all the affiliated colleges/institutes of the university that, approval for holding additional (mini) convocation has been given by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of the University. Accordingly, the additional (mini) convocation in absentia will be held on 22 July 2024.
In the said convocation, degrees/diplomas will be awarded to eligible PhD candidates, students of postgraduate degree and diploma courses and students of undergraduate courses who will complete their internship training by 21 July 2024, i.e., the previous day of the additional (mini) convocation after the regular convocation. Degree/Diploma certificates will be issued only to the absent students and sent to their respective colleges.
Eligible students are advised to download the application form, which is available on the official website of the university. Only applications complete in all respects will be accepted. The application forms should reach the Controller of Examinations on or before 25 June 2024.
It is also informed that candidates who fail to submit their application within the prescribed time limit and whose application is received later will have to pay a late fee.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS
1 The Additional (Mini) Convocation of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik is scheduled on 22nd July 2024.
2 Degree/Diploma certificates will be issued to absent students only.
3 After the said Convocation, the Degree/Diploma certificates of the students who have submitted their applications within the prescribed time limit will be sent to their respective colleges.
4 Eligible students shall send the application form complete in all respects in the prescribed format available on the university website to the University.
5 The following students will be eligible for conferment of Degree/Diploma at the said Convocation-
i All postgraduate degree and diploma course students who have passed the Winter-2023 session examination as well as PhD students who have been declared eligible for the award of PhD degree by 21st July 2024.
ii The students of the Post Graduate M.Sc. (Pharmaceutical Medicine) course passed the Summer-2023 and Winter-2023 session examinations.
iii Students of all undergraduate courses (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BASLP, B.Sc. in Paramedical Technology) in the Winter-2022 session who have passed the examinations and completed one-year internship training as on 21 July 2024.
iv Bachelor of Optometry course students passed 1st Summer-2022 and Winter-2022 session examinations.
v All Graduate Students (OT, PT & BPO) who have passed the Summer-2023 session examination and have completed/are undergoing six months of internship training as on 21 July 2024.
vi Undergraduate Nursing course students passed the winter 2023 session exam.
vii All Fellowship & Certificate courses passed earlier.
