RGUHS 22nd Annual Convocation to be held online
Bengaluru: With the coronavirus outbreak taking a toll of the medical education sector, the premier Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) has now decided that it is going to conduct its 22nd Annual Convocation via online mode.
Issuing a notification to this effect, the varsity has further notified that as Karnataka government has given its approval to conduct the event with minimum physical appearance, the eligible candidates who applied for receiving Degree Certificate "in-person" cannot be accommodated at the venue. Therefore, they will be getting their degree certificate via speed post.
The notice uploaded on the official website of RGUHS clearly states:
Issue of Convocation Degree Certificate to the eligible students for the 22nd Annual Convocation of RGUHS (through online platform) in absence
Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences hitherto conduct convocation in March/April every year for the eligible students.
In view of COVID-19 pandemic disease, RGUHS is permitted to conduct 22nd Annual Convocation through the online platform on 25/06/2020 at NIHMANS Convention Centre, Bengaluru. Further Government of Karnataka also accorded to conduct Convocation with minimal possible physical presence at the venue.
In view of this, candidates who applied for receiving Degree Certificate "in-person" cannot be accommodated at the venue. Further, their Degree Certificate will be dispatched through Indian Speed Post to the address mentioned in the online application.
