MP Medical Council Clinical Clerkship, Internship Counselling for FMGs: Revised schedule, final seat matrix, merit list released, all details here

FMGs in Bihar Urge Health Department to Release Revised Internship List

Madhya Pradesh- Through a notice, the Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Medical Education (MP DME) has released the revised schedule for Foreign medical graduates (FMGs) seeking Clinical Clerkship/Internship Counselling by the Madhya Pradesh Medical Council. Along with this, MP DME has shared a user manual for the choice-filling and choice-locking process of MPMC-FMG.

Moreover, MP DME has released the final seat details and merit list of the candidates registered for MPMC-FMG Clinical Clerkship/Internship Counseling for December 2023.

As per the notice, “This is for information to all the participating candidates that the publication of the tentative time schedule for counselling dated 13.03.2024, has been modified. This decision has been made in light of the standard completion deadline for internships, which usually occurs on March 31”.

Meanwhile, the candidate has to complete the Choice Filling and Choice Locking in Clerkship/Internship in Madhya Pradesh State through the link given in the User Manual. After clicking on the link candidates have to click on “MPMC – FMG Counseling Clinical Clerkship/Internship”. Next, access the candidate corner using FMGE Roll Number and Password, then enter the displayed captcha and click on “Submit”.

PROCESS OF CHOICE FILLING AND CHOICE LOCKING

STEP-1- Choice filling message will be flashed at the login until the candidate will not lock their choices, press on ‘OK’ button then click on the ‘Choice Filling’ option.

STEP- 2- Before filling choices Read the "Instruction For College Preference Selection", then click on ‘‘Close’’.

STEP-3- First students have to fill choices of permitted institutes (Group-A). Selection of all institutes are mandatory. Kindly select the checkboxes in front of the given college list according to the choice of preference-

i The order of the preference will be displayed in the Selected Preference Box.

ii The candidate can also change the order of the preferences given in the “Selected Preferences Box” by using the Move Up/Move Down arrow buttons as follows-

a Select the College in the Selected Preference Box.

b Use the move up/ move down arrow button to bring it to the required position.

iii After that click on the “Review Selected Preferences” button.

STEP-4- After clicking on the “Review Selected Preferences” option, the selected/arranged preference/choices of Group A will be shown-

a) By selecting the option “Change College Preferences” the candidate can go back and change their preference.

b) By selecting the option “Proceed to Next Step” the candidate can save their Group-A preference and proceed to fill Group-B institutes choices.

STEP-5- Now students have to fill in choices of Recognised institutes (Group-B). Selection of all institutes are mandatory. Kindly select the checkboxes in front of the given college list according to the choice of preference-

i The order of the preference will be displayed in the Selected Preference Box.

Ii The candidate can also change the order of the preferences given in the “Selected Preferences Box” by using the Move up/Move down arrow buttons as follows-

a) Select the College in the Selected Preference Box.

b) Use the move up/ move down arrow button to bring it to the required position.

iii After that click on the “Review Selected Preferences” button.

STEP-6- After clicking on the “Review Selected Preferences” option, the selected/arranged preference/choices of Group B will be shown-

a) By selecting the option “Change College Preferences” the candidate can go back and change the preference.

b) By selecting the option “Proceed to Next Step” the candidates can save their Group-B preference and proceed to lock Both Groups Choices.

STEP-7- The Selected college preferences from both groups will be shown on the screen and then the candidate will receive OTP for choice locking in their registered Mobile No./Email ID. Then click on the declaration check box and enter the received OTP and then click the “Proceed to Lock Choices” button.

STEP-8- After successful Choice locking the candidate will get a confirmation SMS in their registered mobile no. and email ID. Then the online Counselling Choice Filling receipt will be generated. The candidate may take a printout of the same for future reference.

Moreover, as per the final list of seat matrix of MPMC-FMG Clinical Clerkship/Internship Counseling for December 2023, there are a total of 26 institutes which include 14 government and 12 private colleges with a total of 1048 vacant seats.
