NBE extends application deadline for practicals of DrNB final exams October 2026

The latest extension has been granted after the Board received representations from several candidates.

NBE had earlier invited applications on July 31 for both the Theory & Practical and Only Practical categories of the DrNB Final October 2026 examination.

According to the notice issued by the NBE in this regard, the application facility will remain available from September 4, 2026, at 3:00 PM to September 14, 2026, at 11:55 PM. NBEMS has made it clear that no request for acceptance of an application through any mode after closure of the prescribed application submission window shall be entertained by NBEMS.

The candidates have also been instructed not to wait till the last date to complete the online application process.

NBE has clarified that candidates who have already successfully submitted their applications do not need to apply again.

The Board has cautioned that queries or representations submitted through any other mode may not be considered and may lead to a delay in response.

For queries related to eligibility or documents, candidates have been asked to write to NBEMS through its Communication Web Portal.

Candidates have also been advised not to rely on rumours, unverified social media posts or third-party messages. Official information should be checked only through the NBEMS website and its authorised channels.

The reopening offers another opportunity to eligible DrNB candidates who need to appear only for the practical component in the October 2026 session, with the final deadline fixed at 11:55 PM on September 14.

NBEMS shall conduct the DrNB Final Theory Examination for the October 2026 session on 25th, 26th and 27th September 2026 on a computer-based platform at various examination centres across India.
