NBE grants one-time relaxation on AQRC certificate for PDCET counselling 2026
New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced a one-time relaxation regarding the submission of the AQRC certificate for the Post Diploma Centralised Entrance Test (PDCET) counselling 2026.
According to the notice issued by the NBE, this step has been taken following requests received from candidates participating in the PDCET 2026 counselling regarding the submission of the AQRC certificate.
Some candidates have informed NBEMS via an application that they have not yet received the AQRC certificate, as they had not applied for it before the counselling began.
Following this, the competent authority has examined this matter. Therefore, as per the notice, considering the difficulties faced by such candidates, it has been decided to grant a one-time relaxation regarding the submission of the AQRC certificate.
Along with this, candidates who are unable to produce the AQRC Certificate at the time of counselling may be permitted to participate in the counselling process, subject to the following conditions-
1 The candidate must have applied for the AQRC Certificate and shall submit acknowledgement/receipt of such application issued by the concerned authority.
2 The candidate shall submit a duly signed undertaking in the prescribed format, along with a copy of the MBBS Registration Certificate, stating that the AQRC Certificate has been applied for and that the AQRC Certificate shall be submitted to NBEMS immediately upon its issuance and, in any case, not later than 03 (three) months from the date of submission of the undertaking.
3 The candidate shall be solely responsible for any consequences arising out of non-submission of the AQRC Certificate within the stipulated period or submission of any false, incorrect or misleading information.
4 This relaxation is being granted as a one-time measure only for PDCET 2026 counselling and shall not be treated as a precedent for any future counselling session or admission process.
Meanwhile, NBE has also advised candidates to obtain the AQRC Certificate at the earliest and submit the same to NBEMS within the stipulated period of 03 (three) months, failing which appropriate action, including cancellation of candidature/admission, may be taken in accordance with the applicable rules.
