NBE Invites Applications For Fellowship Exit Examination 2022, details
Delhi: National Board of Examinations (NBE) invites applications for the fellowship exit examination 2022.
Application forms for the fellowship exit examination 2022 can only be submitted online at https://natboard.edu.in till 14th March 2023 (Till 11:55 PM). The application window was opened tomorrow (22nd February 2023). The candidates need to refer to the information bulletin at the NBEMS website https://natboard.edu.in (22nd February 2023 onwards) for eligibility criteria, fee structure, scheme of examination, and other details.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct the fellowship exit examination 2022 in March/April 2023. The examination date will be informed to candidates through admit cards on their OEEP account.
The fellowship exit examination leads to the FNB/FNB-PD qualification award, respectively. It comprises theory and practical examination. The theory exams comprise one question paper with a maximum mark of 100. There are 10 short notes of 10 marks each in the theory paper. The maximum time permitted is 3 hours. The candidates must score 50/100 or more to qualify for the theory exam.
The practical exam maximum marks are 300 and comprise clinical examination and viva. The Centre for practical examination is communicated to all the candidates separately after the theory examination. The result of the theory and practical examination will be declared together. The candidates have to score a minimum of 50% in aggregate, i.e., 200 out of 400 marks (Theory & Practical) with at least 50% marks in the theory examination to qualify for the fellowship exit exam.
Candidates who have undergone training as an FNB trainee at any of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) accredited institutes after having registered with NBEMS as an FNB trainee and are completing their prescribed (as per the letter of registration issued by NBEMS) training as FNB trainee as per the prescribed schedule can undertake the FNB Exit Examination in the same sub-specialty subject to completion of training by the date mentioned below & submission of a certificate to this effect.
