NBE Postpones opening of Application window for Formative Assessment Test, FAT 2022
New Delhi : Through a recent notice, the National Board of Examination (NBE) has informed about the postponement of application window for the Formative Assessment Test (FAT) for Post Diploma Courses /Fellowship Courses.
All NBEMS Accredited Institutes are hereby informed about the same.
NBEMS vide notice dated 29-09-2022 had notified that the online application window for registration of the following trainees for FAT will be 'Live' from 10th October, 2022:
For Post Diploma Courses | 2021 admission session (joining in 2022) |
For Fellowship Courses | 2021 admission session (joining in 2022) |

The opening of the application window has been postponed until further notice.
For the above batches of Post Diploma candidates and Fellowship candidates, NBEMS was supposed to be conducting a special edition of Formative Assessment Test as per the schedule indicated below which has now been postponed.

v | Form & Fees for conduct of FAT | To be filled & paid by Training Institutions |
vi | Examination Fees | Rs. 6000 /- candidate (to be paid by Training Institutions only through NBEMS Online Portal for FAT |
vii | Admit Cards for FAT (Theory) | Shall be issued to Training Institutions by 2nd December 2022 |
viii | Work Place Based Clinical Assessment | Shall be conducted in January / February, 2023 |
Kindly note that NBEMS shall be conducting this FAT for Post Diploma & Fellowship Trainees of 2021 admission session only and no other trainees shall be included in this exam.
It is reiterated that in terms of NBEMS Public Notice dated 26.11.2019, appearance in minimum required numbers of Formative Assessment Tests is mandatory towards eligibility for appearing in DNB/DrNB/FNB Final Examinations.
