NBE to declare FMGE June 2022 Result on July 2, Details
New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has postponed the declaration of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2022 session result to 2nd July 2022. The results were expected to be declared today.
The result of FMGE June 2022 shall be published on NBEMS website on 02.07.2022 (evening), the NBE notification stated.
The FMGE 2022 June session exam was conducted on 4th June 2022 in computer-based mode. Out of the total 300, candidates will have to score 150 marks. Candidates will have to score the minimum marks to qualify for the exam.
The candidates can see the result on https://nbe.edu.in/ by providing the login ID and password. They need to click on FMGE 2022 tab on the website and then click on the notice 'result of the FMGE 2022 June session. The result in the PDF format will be displayed on the screen. The candidates need to search the roll number to see the result. The printout of the result can also be taken for future use.
Once the result is out, the scorecard will be released online. The candidates who qualify will only be able to download the scorecard. Candidates who qualify for the exam by scoring the minimum cut-off marks will be issued a pass certificate to make them eligible to practice in India.
Foreign Medical Graduates Examination is a licensure exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations in India. The test is one of the mandatory requirements for an Indian citizen who has a medical degree from a college outside India to practice medicine in the country. The screening test was introduced in 2002. Only eligible candidates are allowed to appear in the FMGE who have both the eligibility certificate (if applicable) and the provisional pass certificate/degree certificate of primary medical qualification.
Candidates can refer to the website of the National Medical Commission (https://nmc.org.in) for the Screening Test Regulations, 2002 & all its amendments, regulations on graduate medical education, and eligibility certificate regulations.
