NEET 2020 admit card: NTA issues clarification
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified on the release of admit card for NEET 2020 which is scheduled to be conducted on 26th July keeping in view the ongoing coronavirus epidemic and lockdown.
The largest entrance examination for UG medical courses, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the gateway for admissions to medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and AYUSH courses in the country. The test will be conducted as per regulations of the Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the Dentists Act-1948, and as amended from time to time. This year, the admission to MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER and all AIIMS like institutions will also be made through NEET.
In its recent notice, the NTA has informed that the NEET 2020 will be held on 26.07.2020 (Sunday) from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM.
The dates of downloading of Admit Cards indicating Roll Number and Centre of Examination will be displayed 15 days before the conduct of examination on the official websites of NTA (www.nta.ac.in) and NEET (UG) -2020 (ntaneet.nic.in).
Medical Dialogues had earlier reported about the announcement on the postponement of NEET 2020. The test was earlier postponed from its scheduled date, May 3; in view of the ongoing deadly coronavirus outbreak and the subsequent lockdown. The National Testing Agency, (NTA) the exam conducting body for NEET, was to issue admit cards to medical and dental candidates in April, but the process was not taken up as the MHRD decided to postpone the exam due to coronavirus scare.
The candidates and their parents are advised to keep visiting the above websites for the latest updates.
For further clarifications related to NEET (UG)-2020, the candidates can also contact at 8287471852, 8178359845, 9650173668, 9599676953 and 8882356803 or mail at neet@nta.ac.in

Union Human Resource Development Minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had recently launched a new mobile app called the 'National Test Abhyas'. The App has been developed by NTA to enable candidates to take mock tests for upcoming NEET 2020 exam under the NTA's purview.
The app has been launched to facilitate candidates' access to high-quality mock tests in the safety and comfort of their homes since there was a demand for making up the loss to students due to closure of educational institutions and NTA's Test-Practice Centers (TPCs) due to the continuing lockdown.
