NEET 2022 aspirants demand postponing exam to August, sign online petition
New Delhi: Referring to the fact that there is very little time gap between NEET UG 2021 and 2022, the aspirants of the medical entrance test have now started signing an online petition demanding to defer the exam to August.
The petition, a copy of which is circulating on the social media platforms, has pointed out the situation of the aspirants who are facing immense mental stress and pressure because of NEET UG schedule in July.
"We are having to go through immense mental stress and pressure because we hardly have any time to prepare for the exam that will determine our future. Sign my petition and urge the authorities to postpone NEET-UG 2022 to August," read the petition.
The aspirants further pointed out that "Counselling of NEET-UG 2021 has just ended in March and then NEET-UG 2022 is scheduled in July. How are we to revise such a vast syllabus in just 3 months? Moreover, other important exams like the Board Exams, CUCET, JEE Mains are also scheduled around the same time. Imagine the trauma and pressure we students are having to go through with all these significant exams scheduled one after the other! Is this a fair decision?"
Seeking help the aspirants prayed everyone to sign the petition and help defer the exam to August.

Sign and share this petition, so that our collective plea reaches the authorities #PostponeNEETUG2022," stated the online petition.

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that seeking postponement of the NEET UG 2022 exam, which is scheduled to take place on July 17, the aspirants were crying for Justice on Twitter.
Strong intervention needed. This is the least we can do.

Please #postponeneetug2022 for the collective interest. A month will be enough for students after boards and post delayed counselling @dpradhanbjp @DG_NTA @NUSA_NEETUG
PLEASE POSTPONE NEET UG TILL AUGUST
However, neither the NTA nor the Health Ministry agrees for such demands. In fact, when the candidates had sought the interference of the Supreme Court regarding the issue, the top court had junked the plea and gave liberty to the candidates for approaching the competent authorities. Ultimately NEET UG 2021 was conducted on September 12, 2021.
