NEET candidates raise complaint on partial refund, MCC issues notice
New Delhi : Through a recent notice, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed that the issue raised by NEET candidates regarding the partial refund is being dealt with and the Payment Gateway Bankers are trying to fix the technical glitch.
It has been brought to the MCC's notice that few NEET UG 2021 candidates have received partial refund of security deposit due to technical glitch in the Payment Gateway Bankers.
Please note that MCC/ Financial Custodian has advised the Payment Gateway Bankers to refund full security deposit.
This issue has been already taken up with the Payment Gateway Bankers and they are trying to fix the technical glitch, the MCC stated in the notice.
This issue will be resolved on or before 30-06-22, the MCC added.
Earlier, the MCC had informed all candidates who participated in UG Counselling 2021 that as per the eligibility conditions of refund, the Refund of the Security Deposit made to 95008 candidates has been done so far. The Remaining refund to Candidates is in progress and will be completed by end of this month and will publish accordingly on MCC UG counselling website.
Candidates are advised to note the following:
1) Refunds have been sent to the same Bank/Card Account from where the security deposit was remitted.
2) Depends upon the level of automation, banks will take 1 to 10 days to credit the refunds.
3) If the refund is not credited in 10 days, the candidate should take up with the "Customer Grievance Cell" of the candidate's banker since the refund may be lying with them in "Suspense Account".
4) Candidates who have raised Charge Back Claim should approach their card issuer for refund.
