NEET Counselling in MP: DME releases merit list, notifies on choice filling, locking process
Madhya Pradesh: The Director of Medical Education (DME MP) has released the user manual for the choice filling and choice locking process and merit list for NEET UG 2023 admissions in the state.
The candidates for choice filling need to use the link dme.mponline.gov.in and click on “Under Graduate Counselling” for the Choice Filling and Choice Locking Process of UG (MBBS/BDS Course) Counselling (2023-24). By accessing the candidate's corner, using NEET UG Roll Number and Password then enter Captcha and click on “SUBMIT.”
The following is the process of choice filling and choice locking for the first round –
Click on the choice filling option
Choose the option for where the candidates want to fill their choices then Click on the “Proceed for Next” button
Before filling in choices Read the "Instruction For College Preference Selection."
The candidates need to select the checkboxes in front of the given college list according to their choice of preference.
The order of preference will be displayed in the Selected Preference Box.
The candidates can also change the order of the preferences given in the “Selected Preferences Box” by using the Move up/ move down arrow buttons as follows –
1. Select the College in the Selected Preference Box.
2. Use the move up/ move down arrow button to bring it to the required position.
After that click on the “Review Selected Preferences” button.
After clicking on the “Review Selected Preferences” option, selected/arrange preferences/choices will be shown.
By selecting the option “Change College Preferences,” the candidates can go back and change their preferences or select new colleges.
By selecting the option “Proceed to Next Step,” the candidates can save their preference and proceed to lock their choice-filling options.
Selected College Preferences will be shown on this screen, and the candidates will receive OTP for choice locking in their registered Mobile No./Email ID, Enter OTP and click the “Proceed to Lock Choices” button.
If the candidates want to change their preference at this stage, then Click on the “Home” button.
If the candidates do not lock their choices, their choices will not be considered for allotment.
After successful Choice locking the candidates will get an SMS also in their registered mobile no. Online Counselling Choice Filling receipt will be generated. They need to take the printout of the same for future reference.
After successfully Choice locking, the candidate will be able to download the Choice locking receipt, and the “Choice Filing & Locking” tracker will turn green.
The candidates can edit their Locked Choices through the option available in their candidate Login till the schedule of choice filling and locking. If they exercise the edit option so ensure that edited choices by them have been locked successfully. If they fail to lock their edit choices, so their previously locked choices will be considered for allotment.
The merit list of registered candidates for the combined NEET UG Counselling (MBBS/BDS Course) has also been released. The list includes Common Rank, Rank M.P. State Rank, NEET UG2023 Rank, NEET UG-2023 Roll Number, Candidate Name, Gender, M.P. Domicile, Eligible Category, NEET Percentile, and NEET Score (Out of 720). The detailed list is enclosed in the notice below.
