NEET, NEET PG 2021: MCC to conduct AIQ counselling in 4 rounds
New Delhi: Through a recent notification, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), has announced the conduct of NEET and NEET PG All India Quota (AIQ) Counselling with respect to MBBS, BDS, MD, MS and PG Diploma admissions this academic year.
The MCC of DGHS is going to conduct the NEET and NEET PG admission process via AIQ counselling in 04 Rounds.
Medical Counseling Committee of DGHS, MoHFW is entrusted with the responsibility of conducting counselling for 15% UG and 50% PG seats for All India Quota seats by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and Gazette Notifications issued by the NMC.
Hence, this is for information to all the participating States/UTs, participating Universities/Institutes/Colleges and the participating candidates of NEET-UG/PG,
"MCC will be conducting online 04 rounds of All India Quota Counselling (AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-Up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round) from the academic year 2021-22 onwards in compliance of the Order dated 16/12/2021 in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No(s).10487/2021 before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India."
It is further informed that no AIQ seats will be reverted back to the respective States after the completion of AIQ Round 2, the notice further read.
For further information, the participating States/UTs, participating Universities/Institutes/Colleges and the participating candidates may refer to the Information Bulletin for NEET-UG/PG which will be made available on the official website of MCC (www.mcc.nic.in) soon.
