NEET PG 2021 scorecards declared null and void, NBE to release Revised ones tomorrow
New Delhi: In a gigantic update for candidates who appeared for NEET PG 2021, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has declared the already issued scorecards as "Null and Void" due to an error in the cut-off scores noted in them.
The Natboard will release the revised scorecard of the NEET PG 2021 exam tomorrow, October 14. Once released, candidates will be able to check the revised scorecard from the examination board's official website.
A typographical error in the cut-off scores has been noted in the NEET-PG 2021 scorecard for OBC/SC/ST and General-PwD categories. An updated NEET-PG 2021 scorecards with correct cut-off scores will be made available for download from 14th October 2021 onwards, reads the notification uploaded on the official website of the National Board of Examination.
All NEET-PG 2021 individual scorecards downloaded prior to 14th October 2021 shall be treated as null and void, the Natboard stated.
Earlier, the result scores of NEET-PG 2021 had declared by NBEMS on 28-09-2021. The cut-off scores for different categories in NEET-PG 2021 were published vide NBEMS Public Notice dated 28th September 2021 that are as follows:

Subsequently, the NEET-PG 2021 individual scorecards for candidates who appeared in the exam were made available on the NBEMS website https://nbe.edu.in/ from 08-10- 2021 onwards.
However, now after noting a typographical error in the cut-off scores in the NEET-PG 2021 scorecard for OBC/SC/ST and General-PwD categories, the NBE has declared the individual scorecards downloaded prior to 14th October 2021 as null and void.
An updated NEET-PG 2021 scorecard with correct cut-off scores will be made available from tomorrow.

Medical Dialogues earlier reported that common counselling will be conducted for NEET PG 2021 with respect to admissions into MD, MS, PG Diploma and DNB courses this academic year.
Earlier, NBE used to conduct counselling to DNB courses on the basis of DNB CET results. Now, MCC along with the NEET PG Counselling to MD, MS and PG Diploma counselling will conduct the procedure for DNB admissions as well.
All the NEET eligible candidates aspiring for admission to PG Courses MD/ MS/ Diploma/ PG DNB are hereby informed that the NEET PG 2021 counselling will be held as per schedule which will be uploaded on the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website.
As per the notification, the MCC/ Directorate General of Health Services, MoHFW, GoI will conduct the NEET PG Counselling 2021 for the following:
a) 50% All India Quota seats of all states. This year Jammu & Kashmir is likely to participate in All India Quota counselling subject to confirmation from competent State authorities.
b) 100% seats (All India Quota seats + Institutional Quota seats) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/ Central Institutes as per eligibility conditions mentioned in Information Bulletin duly uploaded on MCC website.
c) 100% seats of Deemed Universities
d) All P.G seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation.
e) All P.G seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions (only Registration part)
f) Central Institutes, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital & ABVIMS & RML Hospital (50% All India Quota seats and 50% seats of I.P University)
g) From this academic year i.e 2021-22, MCC will be conducting counseling for PG DNB seats of Institutions across India affiliated to NBEMS as per the directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in W.P (C) No. 11011 of 2020 in the matter of Alapati Jyotsana Vs. UoI & Ors. NBEMS accredited Institutes should ensure to visit MCC websites for latest updates and a Nodal Officer should be assigned for the purpose of counselling.
h) For participation in NEET PG Counselling 2021 the candidates are required to go for Registration at the official website of the Medical Counseling Committee (www.mcc.nic.in).
i) Kindly note that Non- Refundable registration fees and Refundable Security deposits have to be paid by the candidates at the time of registration as per their category.
j) The Refundable Security Deposit of candidates who do not join the seats allotted to them in Round-2 & in further Rounds of counselling will be Forfeited.
k) Reservation of seats under SC, ST, OBC, EWS & PwD Category will be as per Gazette Notifications, Supreme Court directions, and O.Ms issued by GoI.
