NEET PG 2022 Edit window goes live, Check out details
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has activated the edit window for candidates to intend to update their Nationality/Category/EWS/PwD status etc in NEET PG 2022 application form
All the Applicant candidates for NEET-PG 2022 are hereby informed that the Edit window for all applicants of NEETPG 2022 is live right now as of from 29.03.2022 (after 6 PM) and will continue till 07.04.2022 (till 11:55 PM).
In line with the communication from the Medical Counseling Committee of DGHS MoHFW, Govt. of India vide its letter no. F. No. U-12021/06/2021-MEC dated 18.01.2022, all applicants for NEET-PG 2022 are further informed as under:
As per the counseling policy of Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), only OBCNCL (Non-Creamy Layer) as per Central list of OBC are eligible to be considered for OBC seats in the counseling conducted by MCC.
Candidates from creamy layer and those who do not fall under the Central List of OBC are therefore advised to mention their category in NEET-PG 2022 application form as "General".
As per the counseling policy of MCC, a candidate can choose the benefit of only one kind of reservation. Accordingly, candidates choosing their Nationality as NRI/Foreign Nationals/OCI or PIO shall not be entitled to avail any benefits of SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD, in the counseling conducted by MCC and also in the qualifying criteria of NEET-PG 2022.
Such NRI/Foreign Nationals/OCI or PIO candidates shall be treated as "General" for the purpose of qualifying criteria of NEET-PG 2022 and also for the purpose of counseling conducted by MCC, irrespective of the Category/PwD status chosen by them in the NEETPG 2022 application form.
In view of the above, candidates who have successfully submitted their application forms for NEET-PG 2022 and wish to update their Nationality Status/Category/EWS/PwD status can do so during the edit window going to start from 29th March 2022. All information except Name, Email ID and Test City shall be editable during the edit window. No further opportunity after this edit window shall be provided to make any further updates in the information furnished in the application form. The update can be submitted only ONCE during this edit window.
The counseling will be done by MCC of DGHS as per details of candidates forwarded by NBEMS with respect to Nationality/Category/PwD/EWS status etc. The details of the candidates will be pre-populated in Counseling Registration Form of MCC as per details provided by the candidates while filling up the NBEMS Application form for NEET-PG 2022. Any representation to change these details will not be entertained by MCC or NBEMS later.
