NEET PG 2024 exam tomorrow! Check list of required documents, barred items
New Delhi- The National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 is going to be held tomorrow i.e. on August 11, 2024, from 9 am to 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm to 7 pm.
Recently, the National Board of Medical Examinations (NBEMS) has released the admit card which also contains the exam centre venue in the allotted exam city.
For the NEET PG exam 2024, additional security measures are being taken by NBEMS and MoHFW (Govt. of India), therefore NEET PG will now be conducted in 185 test cities across the country. The exam is being held to admit medical graduates into 52,000 postgraduate seats available in India. Additionally, candidates appearing for the exam will also have to follow certain guidelines which have been informed by the NBE through the information bulletin of the NEET PG 2024 exam.
Firstly, to appear for the NEET PG 2024 exam candidates have to first register themselves at the exam venue, therefore, candidates have to reach the exam venue on time which will be starting from 07:00 AM to 08:30 AM.
The exam will be conducted in two shifts, of which the exams in the first shift will be held from 9 am-12.30 pm while the second shift exam timing is from 3.30 pm to 7 pm
The detailed time allotment for the exam is given below-

Candidates must report at the 'Reporting Counter' of the examination venue at the time mentioned in their Admit Card. To avoid crowding at the entrance of the examination venue, there will be staggered time slots for candidates to report. The reporting counter will close 30 minutes before the examination starts time. This will allow time for security checks, identity verification and check-in for the examination.
Candidates reporting late will not be allowed to appear in the exam under any circumstances. NBE will not be responsible for the delay in the arrival of candidates at the centre due to any reason.
Candidates need to bring the following documents which are mandatory to appear for the NEET PG 2024 exam-
DOCUMENTS
1 Printed copy of Barcoded/QR Coded Admit card.
2 Photocopy of Permanent / Provisional SMC/MCI/NMC registration*, to be retained by the test centre &.
3 PAN Card.
4 Driving License.
5 Voter ID.
6 Passport.
7 Aadhaar Card (With Photograph).
8 Admit card.
Meanwhile, candidates are not allowed to carry the following items beyond the security checkpoint in the examination premises under any circumstances-
1 Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, etc.
2 Any electronic device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, wrist watch/Health Band, Calculator, Electronic Pen/ Scanner etc.
3 All ornaments like bracelets, rings, Earrings, Nose-pin, Chain/ Necklace, Pendants, necklaces with pendants, Badges, Brooch etc.
4 Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc.
5 Any eatable item opened or packed, soft drinks, water bottles etc.
6 Any other item which could be used for unfair means, for hiding communication devices like wireless/Bluetooth devices, spy cameras etc.
Candidates are advised to read the admit card carefully for items permitted to carry inside the examination centres.
