NEET PG Counselling: MCC releases eligibility criteria for stray vacancy round, list of eligible candidates

New Delhi: With the process for Mop-up round session for PG medical counselling being over, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the lists of eligible candidates and eligibility criteria for stray vacancy round for central, deemed universities which will be conducted at institute level as per schedule from 28th July to 31st July 2020.Issuing a notification informing about...

New Delhi: With the process for Mop-up round session for PG medical counselling being over, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the lists of eligible candidates and eligibility criteria for stray vacancy round for central, deemed universities which will be conducted at institute level as per schedule from 28th July to 31st July 2020.

Issuing a notification informing about the eligibility for stray vacancy round, the MCC has clearly stated the following:

The Reporting for Mop Up Round of PG Counselling 2020 got over on 27th July 2020. The seats remaining vacant after completion of Mop Up Round will be transferred to the respective Central/ Deemed Universities for the conduction of Stray Vacancy Round at their level as per schedule.

The following Candidates will be ELIGIBLE for Stray Vacancy Round:

1. Candidates who are registered with MCC (name of candidate appearing in the list forwarded by MCC) and are not holding any seat.

2. Candidates who have not been allotted a seat in Mop Up Round

The following Candidates will NOT be ELIGIBLE for Stray Vacancy Round:

1. Candidates who were allotted a seat in Mop Up Round but did not report at the Allotted Institute are 'Not Eligible' to participate in Stray Vacancy Round.

2. Joined Candidates of previous rounds.

3. Candidates not 'REGISTERED' on the MCC website.

The eligibility conditions of Central/ Deemed Universities are as follows:

BHU/ I.P University (ABVIMS & RML Hospital, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital and ESIC PGIMSR, Basaidarapur)/ CIP Ranchi/ Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health, Tezpur, Assam/ Deemed Universities

All Candidates who are registered with MCC (name of candidate appearing in the list forwarded by MCC) and are not holding any seat or not allotted a seat in Mop Up Round are eligible to apply.

2.

Delhi University

Only Internal candidates as per University rules. are eligible for Stray Vacancy Round of Delhi University

3.

AMU

Only Internal candidates as per AMU rules are eligible for Stray Vacancy Round of AMU

For more information, the candidates who intend to participate for Stray Vacancy Round of Central Universities/ Deemed Universities are advised to contact the concerned University with respect to their eligibility conditions as stipulated by them, before applying for the same.
