NEET SS 2021 Cutoff Lowered: MCC releases online special mop up round Counselling Schedule, Check out Details
New Delhi : With the NBE reducing the NEET SS 2021 cutoff to 15th percentile, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the schedule and eligibility criteria for participating candidates in the online special mop up round counselling.
All the Super-speciality candidates are informed that a special mop-up round for 930 remaining vacant seats after conduction of 2 round of AIQ Super speciality rounds following another additional round of Counselling. Hence, the competent authorities have deliberated upon the matter & decided that qualifying percentile for Super-speciality course is to be reduced to 15th percentile from the prevailing qualifying percentile for Special mopup round.
The candidates must note that while participating in special mop-up round of Super-speciality will have to furnish an undertaking with respect to allotment of seats at the time of Choice Filling on MCC portal as under:
"I agree to participate in special mop-up round of NEET-SS Counselling, 2021. I affirm that I am not holding any seat in the previous rounds of NEET-SS Counselling, 2021 of All India Quota/State Counselling of seats reserved for in-service candidates (Tamil Nadu)."
The Eligibility of candidates to participate in special mop-up round of Superspeciality is reiterated as under:
a. ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES:
ï‚· Only Candidates who have not joined any seat in previous rounds of AIQ or are not holding any seats in Counselling conducted by State of Tamil Nadu (in-service seats) are eligible to participate.
ï‚· Candidates who have not registered in earlier rounds of AIQ may register & participate by paying fresh the security amount in Special mop-up round of SS Counselling 2021.
Candidates who have registered in earlier rounds of AIQ or Counselling conducted by State of Tamil Nadu (in-service seats) but have not been allotted any seat.
b. INELIGIBLE CANDIDATES:
ï‚· Any candidate who has joined a seat in the earlier rounds of AIQ or Counselling conducted by State of Tamil Nadu (in-service seats) shall not be eligible for participating in the Special mop-up Round.
