NEET SS 2021: MCC declares Final Result For Special Mop-Up Round II Counselling
New Delhi: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the final result for Special Mop-Up Round II of NEET SS 2021 counselling.
The results include rank, qualifying exam, allotted institute, course, and remarks. A total of 319 candidates have been allotted seats in the Special Mop-Up Round II of NEET SS 2021 counselling. The detailed result is enclosed in the notice below.
After downloading the provisional allotment letter from the MCC website, the candidates approach the allotted college/institute.
The Medical Counselling Committee is an organization under the Directorate General of Health Services affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. MCC is responsible for allotting seats for undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-specialty medical courses in government-run/aided colleges and deemed-to-be-university colleges. The seats are allocated online based on the candidate's National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) score.
A total of 749 seats were available for candidates, as per the MCC seat matrix and the subsequent addition of 1 seat. According to the seat matrix, the maximum number of seats were vacant in the specialty of DNB SS Cardiology, with 124 seats available for candidates. This followed by MCh CTVS with 112 and MCh Paediatric Surgery with 105 seats.
The MCC earlier declared the provisional results.
The responsibility of MCC -
1. Maintenance of the official website of MCC, DGHS
2. Finalisation of counselling procedure & schedule
3. Co-ordination with the concerned agencies for counselling against State/UT quota seats
4. Finalisation of counselling centers & making necessary arrangements at the counselling centers, if applicable
5. Fixation of counselling fees & deposits, if any
