No penal action against doctors who fail to appear for PC PNDT test: DME Haryana
Haryana: The Director of Medical Education (DME Haryana) has clarified that no penal action will be taken against doctors who have put in practice for not less than 15 years in case they do not take the Competency-Based Assessment Test for Pre-conception and Pre-natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT).
As per the notification, the doctors will decide to appear for the test or not. The test wi be held on 28th June 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and will be conducted by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.
The eligible candidates can download the application/examination form on the University website. They need to submit the duly filled in examination form to the office of the Controller of Examinations, Pt. B. D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, after getting the same verified and forwarded by the Civil Surgeon of the concerned district latest by the 25th June 2022, up to 5.00 pm.
Along with the examination form, the candidates must submit either D.D. of Rs 5000 or proof of Rs 5000 paid online. The D.D. has to be made in favour of the Controller of Finance, Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.
The test is being held as per the calendar of events which has been notified both on the University website as well as on the official website of the Office of the Director-General Health Services, Haryana, in accordance with the syllabus/guidelines/scheme of examination mentioned in the Pre-conception and Pre-natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) (Six Months Training) Rules, 2014, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Department of Health and Family Welfare), Government of India Gazette Notification, dated 9th January 2014.
There shall be one theory paper with a duration of 2 hours and a maximum of 100 marks, divided into two sections; A & B. 'Section A' shall consist of 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each. There shall be no negative marking for the MCQs.
