AIIMS Delhi Announces Result Of 1st Round Of Online Seat Allocation Of Msc Nursing Courses 2022 Session
Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Delhi) has announced the result of 1st round of online seat allocation for the MSc Nursing courses 2022 session.
As per the notice, the 1st round of seat allocation has been done on the basis of choices made (from 11.00 am, 3rd September 2022 to 5.00 pm, 6th September 2022) by eligible candidates.
The list consists of Roll No, Overall Rank, Category, Allotted Institute, Allotted Subject/Speciality, and Allotted Seat Category. This list includes all candidates who were eligible for the 1st round of online seat allocation. Based on the certificates (OBC/EWS) uploaded by the candidates as per the result notification dated 20th July 2022 the preliminary verification of the validity of the certificates has been done. Accordingly, candidates who had uploaded valid certificates (OBC/EWS) have been considered in the claimed category and candidates who did not upload valid certificates or uploaded invalid certificates (OBC/EWS) have been considered under the UR category to cut off the rank of UR merit list.
Candidates who did not participate in the 1st round of online seat allocation are not eligible for the 2nd round of online seat allocation but can participate in the open round of seat allocation (if any). For the 2nd round, the order of the online seat allocation process will be based on the merit order used for the 1st round with no further change.
As per AIIMS, all candidates who have been allotted a seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) in the 1st round of online seat allocation are required to login through the online seat allocation portal and actively exercise one of the following options by 5.00 pm on 12th September 2022. Failure to select any of the options as below will lead to forfeiture of the allocated AIIMS & Subject/Specialty and the candidate will become ineligible to participate in 2nd round –
1. Option 1. ACCEPT allotted seat and do not wish to participate in further rounds of seat allocation
2. Option 2. ACCEPT allotted seat and want to participate in 2nd round of seat allocation
If the candidates choose option 2 and participate in the next round and are allocated another seat as per their choice in the next round, then they will have to join the seat allocated during the next round and the previously allocated seat shall be deemed vacated and automatically be allocated to other candidates next in merit as per choice. Failure to join the upgraded seat in the next round of seat allocation shall lead to impositions of the penalty of Rs. 1.00 Lakh if they do not join the upgraded seat.
Instruction for each option –
Option 1: If the Option of "ACCEPT allotted Seat and do not wish to participate in further rounds of seat allocation" is selected then -
1. The candidate will have to report at the respective AIIMS (as per points 7, and 8 of the information brochure for 1st round of online seat allocation dated 31st August 2022) by 5.00 pm on 12th September 2022 with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the online seat allocation portal), Seat Allocation Letter/Slip from online Portal and deposit original certificates OR a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1 Lakhs in the name of Director AIIMS, New Delhi along with photocopies of certificates. The DD will be refunded only when the original certificates are deposited.
2. It must be noted that by exercising this choice the candidate is opting not to participate in further rounds of seat allocation.
3. If original certificates are not deposited at the time of joining, these will have to be submitted by 16th September 2022, otherwise admission will be cancelled, the deposited money will be forfeited, and the candidate will not be eligible for any further participation in seat allocation.
4. If the candidates exercise this option but do not report in person by 5.00 pm on 12th September 2022, the admission will stand cancelled and they shall become ineligible for participating in all further rounds of online seat allocation. No further correspondence shall be entertained in this regard. However, these candidates can participate in the open round of seat allocation.
Option 2: If the option of "ACCEPT allotted seat and want to participate in 2nd round of online seat allocation" is selected then -
1. The candidate will have to report to the respective AIIMS (as per points 7, and 8 of the information brochure for 1s Round of Online Seat Allocation dated 31st August 2022) by 5.00 PM on 12th September 2022 with the Offer Letter (downloaded from online seat allocation portal) and deposit original certificates OR a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1 Lakh in the name of Director AIIMS, New Delhi along with photocopies of certificates. The DD will be refunded only when original certificates are deposited for joining a seat in any round of seat allocation.
2. In the event of a candidate who has exercised this option but does not report in person (as per Information Brochure) by 5.00 PM on 12th September 2022, the admission will stand cancelled and he/she shall become ineligible for participating in all further rounds of Online Seat Allocation.
3. The candidate shall be eligible for the 2nd round of Online Seat Allocation subject to the above.
4. If in the 2nd Round of seat allocation, a candidate who has chosen option 2 is allocated another seat as per the choice made, then the candidate will have to accept the seat allocated in the 2nd Round and the seat allocated in the 1st will be released automatically. Such candidates cannot retain the seat allotted in the 1st Round and failure to join the seat allocated in the 2nd Round shall lead to the imposition of a penalty of Rs. 1 lakh.
If the candidates who have been allocated a seat in the 1st round of online seat allocation do not respond in any of the above manners, their seat allocation shall stand cancelled and they shall be ineligible for all further rounds of seat allocation except the open round of seat allocation.
The claim to the allotted seat by candidates is subject to verification of original documents for eligibility as applicable as well as identity verification of the candidate. If the candidates fail to submit all required certificates (original or photocopies with DD) their candidature shall stand cancelled, the seat offered in 1st round shall be vacated for the next round and they will not be allowed to participate in 2nd round of the seat allocation process. However, the candidate will be eligible for the open round of seat allocation (if any).
List of Documents/Certificates that are required to be deposited in Original/DD (one lakh) along with one set of self-attested photocopies as applicable -
1. Offer Letter.
2. Seat allocation letter.
3. Final Registration Slip.
4. Admit Card issued by AIIMS.
5. 10th passing/ Birth Certificate showing his/her date of birth.
6. Degree/provisional/passing Certificate of B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing (Post-certificate)/Post- Basic/B.Sc. Nursing (4 years) from any recognized University, with 60% marks for Gen/OBC/EWS candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST candidates.
7. Marksheet of the qualifying examination.
8. Certificate of Registration as Nurse & Midwife (RN/RM) with any State Nursing Council.
9. Proof of recognition of college from where the candidate has completed a BSc (Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing (Post-certificate)/Post-Basic/B.Sc. Nursing (4 years).
The candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable -
SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate issued by the competent authority and should be in English or Hindi in language. The community should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. OBC/EWS certificate should be the same as provided to Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi within in due dates.
Certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disability issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board as mentioned in the prospectus.
Policies regarding eligibility for 2nd round -
1. The candidates who have been allocated seats in the 1st round and have chosen option 2 (mentioned above) and have fulfilled the requirements shall be eligible for the 2nd round of online seat allocation.
2. All the candidates who were considered in the 1st round but have not been allocated any seat, will automatically be eligible for the next round.
3. All candidates who were eligible for the 1st Round of seat allocation but did not register or fill choices (NR/NP in this notification) shall not be considered eligible for the 2nd round of seat allocation but will be eligible for the open round of seat allocation (if any).
General rules adopted for 1st round of online seat allocation/counselling –
1. Merit shall be the guiding principle for seat allocation.
2. The seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) available for allocation are: Unreserved (UR), OBC (Other Backward Class), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Economically Weak Section (EWS), PWBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability), AIIMS, New Delhi in service seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty).
3. Every candidate has been allocated a Seat (Specialty/Subject) as per his/her best choice provided, as available at that rank for the 1st round.
4. If at a particular rank for a candidate, the best choice of the candidate is available in both the open merit (unreserved) as well as a reserved category (wherever applicable) then the seat (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) has been allocated under the unreserved category and not the reserved category.
5. For Persons with Benchmark Disability (more than 40%), a 5% horizontal reservation shall be followed for the seats (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) and allocation has been done on basis of merit.
6. Vacant seats (AIIMS & Subject/Specialty) in 1st round of seat allocation shall be allotted in subsequent rounds by following the above rules.
7. The 2nd round will be initiated after completion of the 1st round. Exercising of Choices will not be opened for the 2nd Round of Seat allocation and Choices selected by candidates in the earlier choice filling Round will be considered for 2nd Round.
