AIIMS MSc Nursing 2026 counselling begins, round 1 choice filling open till July 18

New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released a schedule for the online seat allocation process for AIIMS MSc Nursing for the August 2026 session.

The schedule is in continuation of the result notification of the AIIMS M.Sc. Nursing Entrance Examination August 2026 Session.

According to the schedule, the online seat allocation process for AIIMS MSc Nursing for the August 2026 session will take place till 21 August 2026. Of these, the 1st round of Online Seat Allocation will be from 14 July 2026 till 01 August 2026.

Following this, the 2nd round of Online Seat Allocation will be from 12 to 21 August 2026.

Exercising of choices will not be opened for 2 nd Round of seat allocation and the choices opted in the 1st round will be considered for the 2nd Round. Below is the detailed schedule-

The link for the portal will be activated for eligible candidates on “MyPage” accessible by logging in using the credentials that have been used for filling the Final Registration form and other processes related to the MSc Nursing entrance examination for the 2026 session.

ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility criteria as per the MSc Nursing, August 2026 session prospectus, including any notices published, have been applied considering the information provided by the candidates in the online registration form.

All the candidates who have been listed in the Results Notification will be eligible to participate in the 1st and 2nd Round of the online seat allocation. This shall be subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the prospectus/notices published on the AIIMS official website.

PROCEDURE

1 The eligible candidate can access the online seat allocation portal through the link available after logging in on their login page where they have applied for M.Sc. Nursing August 2026 session.

2 To retrieve the login credentials, click on the Forgot your login details button in the Registration/login Page.

3 The online seat allocation portal will allow candidates to make choices of seats (a combination of Institute and subject/speciality) as per his/her eligibility. The candidate can arrange the choices in the desired order of preference. There is no limitation on the number of choices (Institute & Subject/Speciality) that can be made by the candidates. The choices can be edited and reordered within the date and time specified in the Important Dates link in the Portal.

4 Kindly note that the choices cannot be edited and reordered after the closing date of exercising of choice of 1st Round of seat allocation. The allocation of the 2nd Round will be done as per choices made by the candidates during exercising of choice of the 1st Round of seat allocation.

5 The portal will remain open on dates specified in the Important Dates link in the Portal. The choices made by the candidate will be locked either by the candidate OR will be automatically locked on the last Date and Time as specified in the Important Dates link in the Portal.

6 Candidates who do not log in and exercise their choices (Institute and subject/speciality) for the first round will not be considered for the 1st & 2nd rounds of seat allocation.

7 All the candidates who have been allocated seats in the 1st Round are required to log in to the online seat allocation portal and actively choose option1 or option 2 within the date and time specified in the Important Dates link.

Options to refuse the allocated seat are not available. Therefore, the candidates are requested to fill the choices carefully and responsibly. The candidate himself/herself shall be responsible for their choices.

8 All the candidates who are allocated seats are mandatorily required to report in person (for reporting and/or joining), to the allocated Institute on the date and times specified in the Important Dates link. The candidates are required to submit original certificates OR deposit Rs. 1.00 Lakh as specified in the result notification of the seat allocation of the 1st Round at the time of reporting.

9 Candidates availing constitutional reservation must show valid proof of their claim for a reserved seat at the reporting AIIMS when they are depositing original certificates.

10 Candidates availing PWBD horizontal reservation must show valid proof of their claim for allocated reserved seat at the reporting AIIMS when they are depositing original certificates. In case they do not possess a valid certificate, then their claim for the allocated reserved seat will be nullified, and they will be eligible to appear in the further round as UR candidate subject to cut off in UR merit list.

11 All disputes pertaining to the conduct of the entrance Examination for MSc Nursing by AIIMS, New Delhi and online seat allocation / Counselling will be subject to the jurisdiction of the High Court of Delhi only. Confirmation of admission shall be subject to verification of Disability by the Medical Board of the respective AIIMS, as per the schedule mentioned in the result of the respective round of seat allocation.

12 The 2nd round will be initiated after completion of the 1st round.
