Army Welfare Education Society Invites Online Applications For Admission To BSc Nursing Courses, Apply Till 19th May
Delhi: Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) has invited online applications for Admission tests to BSc Nursing Degree Course at the Army College of Nursing (ACN), Jalandhar Cantt, and Army Institute of Nursing (AIN), Guwahati. Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, recognizes both colleges.
Per the notice, the last day to apply is 19th May 2023. Candidates must apply online for each institution (ACN and AIN) if they want to be considered for both institutes. No offline applications/documents will be accepted.
The prospectus can be downloaded from the respective college website. The candidates must pay Rs 1000 for each institution as an online application fee. The online admission test (OAT)-2023 (ACN & AIN) will be conducted on 4th June 2023.
Eligibility criteria –
Army College Of Nursing (ACN), Jalandhar Cantt –
1. Qualification: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with minimum 45% aggregate marks, pass in English and 50th percentile in Online Admission Test (OAT).
2. Admission exclusively for daughters of serving and retired Army Persons.
Army Institute Of Nursing (AIN), Guwahati –
1. Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 on the first attempt with a minimum of 50% marks each in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and 50th percentile in the Online Admission Test (OAT).
2. 90% of seats are reserved for daughters of Serving and Retired Army Persons, and 10% are for civilian female candidates of North Eastern (NE) States.
Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) manages and ensures proper education facilities for children of Indian Army personnel through Local Military Authorities. Established in 1983, the society has its office at Shankar Vihar, Delhi Cantonment and over the years has opened over 137 Army Public Schools and 249 Army Pre Primary Schools across India. It has 12 professional institutions of higher education. A list of colleges and schools including Army Public Schools all across the nation in many cities, colleges pertaining to engineering, medicals, dental, management, law, etc.
