BFUHS Invites Online Applications For MSc Nursing 2023, check schedule, eligibility criteria, fee, seat position details
Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has invited online applications for MSc Nursing courses for the 2023 session.

FOR NRI & FOREIGN NATIONAL CANDIDATES: Applications for NRI seats in Government/University/Private colleges shall have to be sent to the University after obtaining an eligibility certificate from the University by 18.07.2023. NRI & Foreign National candidates must obtain an eligibility certificate & apply on the prescribed Admission application form.Vacant seats under the NRI quota will be offered to Foreign National Candidates. | 18.07.2023 |
Counseling: Physical counseling will be conducted at the University College of Nursing, Faridkot. The selected candidates are required to deposit a six-month fee in the shape of a bank demand draft favoring Registrar Baba Farid University of Health Sciences payable at Faridkot If the candidate fails to deposit the fee on the spot at the counseling venue, they will not be considered for admission. | 21-07-2023 |
To appear in the Entrance Test, candidates will have to fill online admission application form and deposit the required fee through the online payment portal. Fee and GST should be deposited directly in the University account through the online payment portal available on the university website. The fee shall not be accepted in any other mode, i.e., cash, draft, cheque, etc.
Registration fee –
1. Rs. 5000/- +18% GST (5900/-) for General Category and SC candidates will deposit a fee of Rs.2500+18% GST(Rs.2950/-) be deposited through the online payment gateway available on the University website,.in by due date and time.
2. Fee, once deposited in the University account, will not be refunded/adjusted in any case.
Admit Card/Roll Numbers of PMNET-2023 will be issued only to those candidates who will deposit the fee by the due date and time. Candidates will take the printout of the online filled application form. They will carry this form along with self-attested certificates/documents at the counseling venue for verification/checking of certificates/documents. Apart from it, candidates will also bring all original certificates to the counseling venue.
An error in filling out an online admission application form may result in rejecting such an Application Form. Corrections in the information given by the candidate in the online application form are not permitted after the last submission date. Those candidates who do not fill/claim any category code as per the prospectus or fill in a wrong category code other than mentioned in the prospectus will be treated in open merit.
The candidate may select a category code from the codes given below and fill in the category accordingly. A candidate may fill more than one category if it is considered applicable in the candidate's particular case.
Candidates ensure they have completed 17 years on or before 31st December 2023. The date should be filled in the dd/mm/yyyy format, i.e., date/month/year. If the result of the B.Sc. Nursing/Post-Basic B.Sc. The nursing examination is not declared, or the candidate has reappeared in this examination; they should have filled 0(zero) in the columns of marks.
After filling out the online admission application form, the candidates will receive a Registration number and Password at their given mobile no and E-mail address. Registration number and Password are mandatory for further process. All unlock application forms are locked automatically after the cutoff date; once an application form is locked, it can’t be unlocked.
The personal appearances of candidates are essential at the time of Counseling. They must produce all original documents/ testimonials before the Selection Committee for verification. The candidates must bring the printout of the online application form at the time of the counseling. Six months' fee from selected candidates will be collected on the sport at the time/venue of counseling in the shape of a Demand Draft favoring Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, payable at Faridkot.
The candidates, who are getting admission and are in service with any institute, will submit the relieving certificate from the employer at the time of joining the respective colleges. Suppose later on it is found that they are doing service in any institute even after getting admission. In that case, they will be debarred for doing MSc Nursing, and action against the student and the college will be initiated as per the rules of the University. The Principals of the respective colleges will ensure and give an undertaking that all students regularly attend the classes.
Procedure for admission –
1. The seats and eligibility criteria for NRI seats are as per the Punjab Government notification for admission to MSc Nursing courses.
2. After qualifying Entrance test (PMNET-2023), the candidate will apply to the university for an Eligibility certificate.
3. The Performa for getting an eligibility certificate is available on the University website. The fee for getting an eligibility certificate is Rs. 2500/- towards the cost of this form.
4. After downloading the eligibility application form, candidates will have to submit the same to the University along with a bank draft of US $ 500 or its equivalent amount in Indian Rupees in favor of Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, payable at Faridkot.
5. After getting the Eligibility Certificate from the University, the candidate has to apply for admission on the prescribed Admission Application form to the Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.
6. The candidate will download the Admission Application Form from the University Website and submit the duly filled form to the university along with relevant documents and a fee of Rs.3000/- towards the cost of this form and US $ 500 or the equivalent amount in Indian Rupees in the shape of Demand Draft favoring of Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, payable at Faridkot.
The following original and photocopies of documents are required while submitting the eligibility application form is as under -
1. Copy Admit card/ Result of the Entrance Test (PMNET-2023)
2. Copy of the certificate qualifying examination certificate
3. Date of Birth certificate/Matric Certificate
4. Certificate that qualifying examination has been passed as a regular student from a recognized institution /university
5. Statement of Marks/ Detail Marks Certificates
6. Character/Conduct certificate from the institution last attended
7. Copies of the passport of the Candidate/Parents in support of NRI proof
8. Recognition Certificate of B.Sc.(Nursing)/Equivalent Degree from INC
9. Experience Certificate
10. Proof of Punjab Background who will apply under category I
11. Proof of resident of India who will apply under category II

Result card: The University will not issue the result cards to candidates appearing in MSc (nursing) entrance test. Candidates may access/ download their respective result cards from the university website,, from any internet source.

1. The student will have to give a bank guarantee/surety bond for the residual fee if they opt to pay the fee in installments as provided.
2. Selected Candidates will have to deposit the full/1st installment of the fee on the spot.
3. The payment in the shape of a Demand Draft should favor Registrr Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.
4. The payment should either be in US $ or drawn from their own or parents' NRE account, along with a bank certificate/statement showing that payment is drawn from the candidate's or parents' account.
5. The Selected candidates can also remit the fee through online mode. The bank details are enclosed in the notice.
The NRI candidates must have a 'Provisional Students Visa' from the Indian Mission abroad before admission, and once they get confirmed admission, a 'Students Visa' can be obtained from FRO/FRRO on their own.
