Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has released the Prospectus for Admission into BSc Nursing and Post Basic BSc Nursing admissions for this academic year.

All the concerned candidates are advised to take note of the following details.

BSc Nursing:

B.Sc Nursing 4YDC COURSE FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023-24

As per INC guidelines

REGULATIONS:

A) These Regulations are applicable for admission into Competent Authority Quota Seats in Government and Private Nursing colleges.

B) All the Candidates shall fulfill the regulations for admission into B.Sc.,(N) 4 years Degree Course for admission into Competent Authority Seats.

C) . The candidates are advised to take a print out of the prospectus / instructions to fill the application form from the website www.knruhs.telangana.gov.inbefore proceeding to fill the application form.

D) . The Seat matrix for Competent Authority Quota seats into B.Sc Nursing 4 YDC Course at Government and Private Colleges for academic year 2023¬2024 will be displayed in the KNRUHS website before exercising web options for counseling.

E) . Tuition Fee shall be as notified by the State Government.

F) . In case any new BSc Nursing 4 YDC seats/new colleges are permitted by Authorities for the Academic Year 2023-2024, those seats will also be filled up. No further notification will be issued.

Eligibility (As per the G.O.Rt.No.1095, HM & FW Dept., dated 02.09.2013)

i. The candidates should be citizens of India and should satisfy the local or non-local status in Telangana /Andhra Pradesh as laid down in Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of admissions) order, 1974 and the selection will be done as per the procedure laid down in the G.O.P.No.646, dated 10-07-1979 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC2), dated18-05-2009, G.O.MS.No. 18, HM & FW (C1) Department, Dated: 02.02.2023 and G.O.MS.No. 95, HM & FW (C1) Department, Dated:14.07.2023.

2.1. Candidates shall secure the following of cutoff scores or above in TS- EAMCET – 2023 to be eligible for admissions in accordance with regulations of Indian Nursing Council.

ii. Eligible TS - EAMCET- 2023 qualified Candidates have to apply online and upload the original certificates in response to notification to be issued by KNRUHS. The merit rank notified after verification of certificates by KNR University of Health Sciences, shall be the basis for selection into B.Sc.,(N) 4Ydc course into Competent Authority Quota seats.

iii. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

a. Candidates seeking admission into B.Sc.,(Nursing) 4 YDC Course should have passed 2 years Intermediate Examination (10 + 2 pattern) with 45% aggregate of marks in Science (Biology, Physics ,Chemistry) and English is compulsory subject in 10+2.

Or

b. Any other examination of (10 + 2 pattern) from recognized Board under AISSCE / CBSE/ ICSE / SSCE / HSCE / NIOS / TOSS of other equivalent Board with Biology, Physics and Chemistry recognized as equivalent by Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana state.

Or

Intermediate (10+2) Vocational with Bridge course with Biology and Physical Sciences.

c. Those who belong to SC/ST and BC categories are eligible with 40% aggregate marks in the science group subjects (Biology and Physical Sciences). English is compulsory subject as per the norms of the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi vide letter No.F.No.1-2/2014-INC and vide circular No.F.No.1-6/2016 –INC Dated:21-09-2016.

d. Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board or an institution outside the State should produce a certificate of equivalence from the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana, Hyderabad to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana of BPC group.

Note: The Intermediate (TOSS) Candidates who have qualified in the year 2021 shall be treated as having minimum required percentage of marks at Intermediate level as prescribed by concerned authorities/Deemed to be Universities/other Private Universities recognized by UGC. vide reference: G.O.Ms.No.17 Dated:29.10.2020 and G.O.Ms.No.19 Dated:29.06.2021.

AGE: Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2023.

Note:

i. Age shall be calculated on the basis of date of birth as indicated in the Secondary School Certificate examination or equivalent examination.

ii. No request for relaxation of age of a candidate shall be permitted.

iii. Candidates born on or after 02-01-2007 are not eligible

iv. Student shall be medically fit.

ONLINE APPLICATIONS:-

The on-line application form for determining merit position for Competent Authority Quota seats will be available on the website https://tsparamed.tsche.infrom 8 .00 AM on 20-08-2023 upto 05 .00 PM. on 31-08-2023.

Note: The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / Instructions to fill the application form from the website

The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the data required for through computer or Laptop with data connection. The online application form can be filled through any computer with internet connection or Laptop. The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates, Scanned Photo and Signature in the jpg/.gif format separately (as shown below) and ready to enter his/her correct data and upload the photo, signature and original certificates, after the payment of application fee through Online.

Registration and Processing Fee:

The Registration and Processing fee Rs.2500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC & BC candidates and Rs.2000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST candidates shall be paid online through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.**

**Registration and Processing fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further date.

The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus of the course to verify for eligibility under local/non local category.

Certificates Required Before Filling The Application Form On-Line

The following Certificates are required to complete the application process. The certificates marked as mandatory shall be uploaded by every candidate. Other certificates are to be uploaded as per the candidate requirement category. The certificates are to be scanned and kept ready to upload. Application fee has to be paid through online.

MERIT LIST:

THE PROVISIONAL FINAL MERIT POSITION OF APPLIED CANDIDATES FOR COMPETENT AUTHORITY QUOTA SEATS SHALL BE NOTIFIED AFTER VERIFICATION OF UPLOADED CERTIFICATES.

The provisional Final merit list shall be prepared by the Admission Committee appointed by University subject to these regulations.

The criteria for preparation of merit list (B.Sc. NURSING COURSE)

The Merit list will be prepared in accordance with the TS – EAMCET – 2023 Rank

PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:

Selection will be made by the Admission Committee appointed by Vice¬Chancellor, KNR University of Health Sciences based on the web-options given by the candidates and their merit.

iv. Selections shall be made local area wise as per the procedure prescribed in Annexure-III of G.O.P.No.646, Education (W) Dept. dated 10-7-1979, as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC2) Dept., dated: 18-05-2009, G.O.MS.No. 18, HM & FW (C1) Department, Dated: 02.02.2023 and G.O.MS.No. 95, HM & FW (C1) Department, Dated:14.07.2023.

a. The Selection Committee will allot a candidate seat to the Nursing College based on their web-options and merit.

b. Selected candidates will receive the allotment message on the registered mobile number after allotment of seat. Candidates are also directed to check the website for allotment list after exercising web-options.

c. Selected candidates have to download the allotment order on payment of University fee of Rs. 6,000/- (Rupees Six thousand only) besides payment gateway charges through payment gateway and report to the Principal of concerned college along with all Original Certificates and pay the tuition fee as notified by Government at the college to complete the admission process.

ADMISSION RULES

a. The letter of allotment for admission of selected candidate will have to be downloaded from website after payment of University fee by payment gateway.

b. The candidate should submit the print-out of the filled-in Online application form, allotment order and original certificates along with (1) set of self attested copies to the Principal of allotted college at the time of joining for final verification by the Admission Committee constituted at each college. The Admission Committee is responsible for scrutiny of the original certificates submitted by the candidate. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment order for admission will be cancelled.

Selected candidates have to join the college within the specified date by submitting all Original Certificates, and pay the tuition fee as notified by the Government to complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not report within the specified time and complete the process as described before the admission will be automatically cancelled.

ALL ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES ALONG WITH SELF ATTESTED COPIES TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION.

1) Printout of on-line application Form and allotment letter.

2) SSC or any equivalent examination showing date of birth.

3) Memorandum of Marks of the qualifying examination for admission

i.e. Intermediate or Equivalent Examination.

4) Bridge course certificate if applicable.

5) Transfer Certificate from the Institution in which the candidate last studied.

6) Candidates who have studied in the state of Telangana/A.P.

(a) If the candidate has studied in any educational institution, study / bonafide certificate from VI to Intermediate shall be submitted.

(b) A candidate who has studied in 2 or more institutions in Telangana /A.P.,study /bonafide certificate from VI to Intermediate in those places shall besubmitted.

(c) A candidate who has not studied in any school / institution, a residence certificate for that period only shall be submitted.

(d) Candidates who have not studied in any school / college in the state of Telangana but resided in Telangana with private study in Telangana & seven years residence certificate mentioning the period of residence preceding the qualifying examination (6th to Inter) by the candidate claiming eligibility as a local by virtue of residence shall be submitted.

7) Candidates who have studied in the institutions outside the state of Telangana have to submit 10 years residence certificate of the either of the parents issued by MRO to claim seats under unreserved category.

8) Latest Permanent Caste Certificate in case of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Backward Class Candidate issued by competent authority of state ofTelangana.

NOTE: Self Attested copies of the above certificates shall be submitted along with the filled in application form.

For Admission Into P.B.B.Sc.,(Nursing) 2 Ydc Course For The Academic Year 2023-24

ELIGIBILITY

a. The candidates should be Citizens of India

b. Only Women Candidates are eligible for admission into Post Basic B.Sc., (N) 2 Years Course in Government Nursing colleges.

c. The candidates have to apply online and upload the original certificates in response to notification to be issued by KNRUHS. The merit rank will be notified after verification of uploaded certificates by the verifying officers appointed by KNR University of Health Sciences, shallbe the basis for selection into Post Basic B.Sc., (n) 2 YDC course into Competent Authority Quota seats.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

a. Candidates seeking admission into Post Basic B.Sc.,(Nursing) Course should have passed Intermediate Examination.

Or

Any other equivalent examination (10+2pattern) recognized by the University in Telangana or Board of Intermediate Education Telangana or NIOS, TOSS –Indian Nursing Council Regulations.

Note: The Intermediate (TOSS) Candidates who have qualified in the year 2021 shall be treated as having minimum required percentage of marks at Intermediate level as prescribed by concerned authorities/Deemed to be Universities/other Private Universities recognized by UGC. vide reference: G.O.Ms.No.17 Dated:29.10.2020 and G.O.Ms.No.19 Dated:29.06.2021

&

b. Should have passed General Nursing and Midwifery from an institution recognized by the Govt. of Telangana or Nursing Council of India and shall be registered with the State Nursing Council. (Eligibility Criteria is as per G.O.Ms.No.269, HM & FW (K2) Dept., Dt. 30-11-2009 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.194, HM & FW (K2) Dept., Dt.07-07-2011, G.O.Ms.No.40, HM &FW (K2) Dept., Dt: 18-02-2012 and orders issued by Government of Telangana from time to time.

c. Government Service Candidates: Only Female candidates who have completed 2 years of regular service as a staff nurse in Medical and Health Department/Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad as on 31.07.2023 are eligible. Service certificate as a staff nurse should be enclosed issued by the Head of the Department (DPH/DME/Commissioner TVVP etc.) and must be a regular employee. Service Certificate, regularization orders as staff nurse should been closed.

d. Age: Candidate should have completed 21 years of age and should not be more than 45 years of age as on 31st December, 2023. In case of SC/ST/BC Candidates the maximum age shall be relaxed by 3 years.

Note:

1. Candidates born on or after 02-01-2003 are not eligible as they do not complete 21 years of age.

2. Candidates born on or before 31-12-1978 are not eligible as they are over aged and in case of SC/ST/BC candidates born on or before 31-12-1975 are not eligible.

3. A person born on 1st January of a year will complete one year on 31st December of the same year.

4. Age shall be calculated on the basis of date of birth as indicated in the Secondary School Certificate examination or equivalent examination.

5. No request for relaxation of age of a candidate shall be entertained.

Merit List:

The Provisional Final Merit Position Of Applied Candidates For Competent Authority Quota Seats Shall Be Notified After Verification Of Uploaded Certificates.

The Provisional Final Merit List Shall Be Prepared By The Admission Committee Appointed By University Subject To These Regulations.

The Criteria For Preparation Of Merit List (B.Sc. Nursing Course)

The Merit List Will Be Prepared In Accordance With The Ts – Eamcet – 2023 Rank

PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:

Selection will be made by the Admission Committee appointed by Vice¬Chancellor, KNR University of Health Sciences based on the web-options given by the candidates and their merit.

iv. Selections shall be made local area wise as per the procedure prescribed in Annexure-III of G.O.P.No.646, Education (W) Dept. dated 10-7-1979, as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC2) Dept., dated: 18-05-2009, G.O.MS.No. 18, HM & FW (C1) Department, Dated: 02.02.2023 and G.O.MS.No. 95, HM & FW (C1) Department, Dated:14.07.2023.

a. The Selection Committee will allot a candidate seat to the Nursing College based on their web-options and merit.

b. Selected candidates will receive the allotment message on the registered mobile number after allotment of seat. Candidates are also directed to check the website for allotment list after exercising web-options.

c. Selected candidates have to download the allotment order on payment of University fee of Rs. 6,000/- (Rupees Six thousand only) besides payment gateway charges through payment gateway and report to the Principal of concerned college along with all Original Certificates and pay the tuition fee as notified by Government at the college to complete the admission process.

ADMISSION RULES

a. The letter of allotment for admission of selected candidate will have to be downloaded from website after payment of University fee by payment gateway.

b. The candidate should submit the print-out of the filled-in Online application form, allotment order and original certificates along with (1) set of self attested copies to the Principal of allotted college at the time of joining for final verification by the Admission Committee constituted at each college. The Admission Committee is responsible for scrutiny of the original certificates submitted by the candidate. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment order for admission will be cancelled.

Selected candidates have to join the college within the specified date by submitting all Original Certificates, and pay the tuition fee as notified by the Government to complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not report within the specified time and complete the process as described before the admission will be automatically cancelled.

TIME FOR COMPLETION OF COURSE:

Candidate should complete the course within the duration equivalent to double the period of course of study .i.e., 8 years for B.Sc 4YDC.

ALL ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES ALONG WITH SELF ATTESTED COPIES TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION.

1.Print out of on-line application Form and allotment letter.

2. SSC or any equivalent examination showing date of birth.

3. Memorandum of Marks of the qualifying examination for admission i.e. Intermediate or Equivalent Examination

4. GNM Marks memo and pass certificate.

5. Nursing council registration certificate.

6. Transfer Certificate from the Institution in which the candidate last studied.

7. Candidates who have studied in the state of Telangana /A.P.

a) If the candidate has studied in any educational institution, study/bona fide certificate from VI to Intermediate shall be uploaded.

b) A candidate who has studied in 2 or more institutions in Telangana / A.P., study/ bona fide certificate from VI to Intermediate in those places shall be submitted.

c) A candidate who has not studied in any school /institution, a residence certificate for that period only shall be uploaded.

d) Candidates who have not studied in any school/college in the state of Telangana but resided in Telangana with private study in Telangana & seven years’ residence certificate mentioning the period of residence preceding the qualifying examination (6th to Inter) by the candidate claiming eligibility as a local by virtue of residence shall be uploaded.

8. Candidates who have studied in the institutions outside the state of Telangana have to submit10 years’ residence certificate of the either of the parents issued by MRO to claim seats under unreserved category.

9. Latest Permanent Caste Certificate in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes/ Backward Class Candidates issued by competent authority of state of Telangana.
