CEE Kerala To End mop up Round Option Registrations for MSc Nursing Tomorrow
Kerala- The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) is going to soon close the window for registering options for Mop up Counselling PG (MSc) Nursing Course in Government Nursing Colleges and for Government Merit Seats in Private Self-financing Nursing Colleges of the State for the academic year 2024-2025.
All the concerned candidates are advised to take note of the following schedule and details:
The schedule for the Mop-Up Counseling is given below :
21.10.2024 | Option Registration Started |
23.10.2024, 2.00 PM | Option registration ends |
23.10.2024 | Mop Up Allotment |
24.10.2024 | Final Allotment |
25.10.2024 to 28.10.2024, 12.00 PM | Date for joining to the allotted college |
28.10.2024, 1.00 PM | College authorities approve and submit the list of admitted candidates through OAMS |
Online Option Registration is mandatory in this phase .
Candidates who wish to participate in the Mop up Counseling shall have to log on to their home Page provided in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in by giving their Application Number and Password through the link “PG Nursing 2024 – Candidate Portal”. Then by clicking the Menu ‘Option Registration’, candidates can register their options online within the stipulated time.
The candidate who get allotment in this phase shall have to join the allotted college with all the original certificates as given in the prospectus clause 12 (c) and the tuition fee, other fees and the deposits (if applicable) should be remitted at the allotted colleges at the time of admission.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OEC/Communities eligible for educational concessions as is given to OEC/Candidates eligible for fee concession as per GO (Ms) No.25/2005/SCSTDD dated:20.06.2005/Children of Fisherman/ Inmates of Sri Chithra home, Nirbhaya home & Juvenile home allotted under Government Quota are exempted from payment of fees.
The activities related to the Mop Up Counseling for admission to P.G (M.Sc) Nursing Course for the academic year 2024-25 in various Government and self- financing nursing colleges has commenced in the website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The Mop-Up Counseling is conducted for filling the existing vacancies or probable vacancies that may arise in various nursing colleges due to the transfer of students who have already joined the course or due to the ongoing second phase admission process. All Candidates who have figured in the Rank List/Category List published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and satisfy the eligibility criteria as per clause (XIX) in the M.Sc Nursing Prospectus-2024 can participate in the Mop Up Counseling by registering fresh options.
Candidates who have obtained admission in Kerala Government merit seats for a Nursing course in any of the Government Nursing Colleges through first or second phase of centralized allotment shall not be eligible to participate in the Mop-Up Counseling for the same Specialty in other Government Nursing Colleges, likewise, candidates who have obtained admission in Government merit seats for a course in any of the Self Financing Nursing colleges shall not be eligible to participate in the Mop-Up Counseling for the same subject in other Self Financing Nursing colleges.
However a candidate who got admission in Government merit seat of a Self Financing Nursing College shall be permitted to take admission in the same/other subject in a Government Nursing College through Mop-Up Counseling.
Those candidates who have already been admitted in M.Sc Nursing Course through the first phase or second phase of allotment, if they get an allotment through Mop Up Counseling will lose the existing admission. Candidates can register options to all the courses to which he/she wishes to join, irrespective of vacancy existing in each Government/Self-financing colleges, as the newly vacant seats due to transfer of students who have already joined the course or non join of candidates who have already secured admission, or due to ongoing second phase admission process will also be filled in this Counseling. The options submitted by the candidates for previous phases will be treated as void. Fresh option registration is mandatory for participating in the Online Mop up Counseling.
Note: Those candidates who do not register their options within the stipulated time will not be considered for the Counseling.
