Puducherry: Through a recent notice, the JIPMER has informed about the conduction of Final & Mop-up Counseling for BSc Nursing and other BSc Courses for 2021-22 Academic Year

The Final & Mop-up Counselling of BSc Courses for 2021-22 Academic year is scheduled on 05.05.2022 (Thursday) at Mini Auditorium, JIPMER Academic Center, JIPMER to fill up the below mentioned 6 vacant seats* available in the following disciplines: -

e) Dialysis Therapy Technology 0
f) Medical Laboratory Technology in Blood Banking 0
g) Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology 0
h) Neurotechnology 0
i) Nuclear Medicine Technology 0
j) Perfusion Technology 0
k) Radiotherapy Technology 0
Total Number of Seats 6

*New vacancy/ vacancies may arise in the aforesaid courses till the day of counselling if any student discontinues from his/ her course in this time period. Further, new vacancy/ vacancies may arise in the aforesaid courses on the day of counselling where any student who has already joined in any of these courses is changing his/ her course at the time of final & Mop-up counselling

 Counseling for the vacant seats will be filled through the dynamic vertical reservation RosterPoint allocation method. BSc Courses Counseling- 2021-22 held on 06.04.2022 ended at Sl. No.181 of the Roster Point. Hence, the Final & Mop-up counseling will start at Roster Point Sl. No.182 (Refer Annexure-I).

 Those candidates who have already taken admission to any of the BSc courses at JIPMER during the BSc Courses Counseling-2021-22 held on 06.04.2022 are also eligible to participate in the Final & Mop-up counseling. These candidates who hold a seat have to submit a letter in this regard addressed to Dean (Academic), JIPMER forwarded by the Head of the Department concerned and submit in the Academic Section, JIPMER on or before 4:30 PM, 02.05.2022 (Monday). Further, if these candidates OPT for any course in the Final and Mop-up counseling they have to pay the necessary fees afresh as mentioned in the Prospectus.

 The counselling process will be conducted offline (in person). Eligible candidates mentioned in Annexure - A should report to counselling venue in person along with all the documents mentioned below:

I. Original Documents:

1. Admit Card of NEET (UG) 2021 Exam issued by NTA.

2. Result/ Rank letter issued by NTA.

3. JIPMER BSc Courses Application form 2021 (with the application sequence no. mentioned in the merit list published herewith).

4. Proof of Date of Birth (X std. Certificate / Birth Certificate)

5. 12th Standard Statement of Marks (Med.Lab.Asst in Vocational Stream not eligible for BSc. (Ng))

6. Course cum Conduct Certificate / Character Certificate.

7. Transfer Certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied or Migration Certificate.

8. Residence Certificate / Nationality Certificate / Domicile Certificate / Nativity Certificate issued by Revenue Authority not below the rank of Tahsildar or Aadhaar card.

9. In case of Puducherry Residents, the residence certificate / Employer Certificate as required in Prospectus

10. Community / Category Certificate (in case of OBC/SC/ST/EWS) recently taken in required format

11. Medical Certificate in case of OPH Candidate

12. COVID-19 Vaccination certificate

II. Other requirements

1. 6 Nos. Passport size Photograph (Colour) Recently taken

2. Three Sets of Photocopies of the above certificates.

Note: 1. If the certificates are in a language other than English, an English translation of the certificate attested by a Gazette Officer should be produced.

2. Candidates are advised to save the soft copies and enough number of hard photocopies of the aforesaid documents for future reference. Certificates once submitted after admission will not be given for photocopying.

 Bonafide certificates, attested copies, outdated certificates and Certificates in Invalid formats will NOT be accepted.

 Only Candidates will be allowed inside the Counselling Hall. Separate area with limited capacity is arranged for parents and accompanying persons at Community hall, JIPMER.

 The list of candidates eligible for the counselling to BSc courses is mentioned in Annexure - A.

 The list of candidates registered online with incorrect/ insufficient information is mentioned in Annexure-B. Candidates mentioned in Annexure – B are allowed to participate in the counselling only if he/ she submits the necessary original documents as per his/her claim on the day of counselling.

 The list of ineligible registrations for the counselling to BSc courses is mentioned in Annexure-C.

 Final eligibility of the candidate is subject to the physical verification of the original documents on the day of counselling.

 Candidates are instructed to read thoroughly this information brochure & the BSc Prospectus 2021-22.

 Candidates are instructed to check JIPMER website periodically for updates.

 Candidates who fail to submit any one of the mandatory certificates during the certificate verification will not be allowed to participate in the counseling.

NB: Candidates are advised to make necessary arrangements for their accommodation for these days.

Candidates are advised to bring water bottle, lunch and snacks with them on the day of counselling i.e. on 05.05.2022.

 Classes for BSc Courses for 2021-22 academic year have already been commenced on 11.04.2022. After completing all the necessary admission procedures, the seat allotted candidates can immediately report to the department concerned for the classes.

All candidates are instructed to strictly adhere to COVID-19 protocols.
