KNRUHS Revises Eligibility Criteria For Admission To BSc Nursing Course In Govt, Private Colleges, details
Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has revised the eligibility criteria for admission to the BSc Nursing 4YDC course in government and private colleges in accordance with the modified regulations of the Indian Nursing Council.
As per the notice, these orders will be applicable for admissions from the 2023-24 academic year onwards. Admissions into Competent Authority Quota seats of the BSc Nursing 4YDC course will be based on Telangana State EAMCET Rank and INC Regulations, and admissions into Management Quota seats of the BSc Nursing 4YDC course will be based on NEET UG Rank and INC Regulations.
KNRUHS has requested all the candidates aspiring to get admitted into BSc Nursing 4YDC course to apply and appear for the Telangana State EAMCET exam and NEET UG exam for eligibility.
The following detailed amendment has been made –

BSc (Nursing) 4-year degree course Competent Authority quota | Rule-5(ii) The Committee shall make selections based on merit based on an aggregate of marks obtained by the candidates in the science group deciding the merit; candidates who qualify under the compartmental system will be placed after candidates who pass in a single attempt. | The Committee shall select based on rank obtained in Telangana State EAMCET and other applicable rules. |
BSc(Nursing) 4-year degree course Management Quota | Rule-5(iii) Selection for the Management seats will be made by the management of the College or Institute, as the case may be. However, the selection shall be based on objective criteria, including merit In the qualifying examination; and the admission for the above seats shall be made after the list of candidates is verified by the said Selection Committee. | Selection for the Management seats will be made by the management of the College or Institute, as the case may be. However, the selection shall be based on rank obtained in NEET-UG for Management Quota; and the admission for the above seats shall be made after the list of candidates Is verified by the said Selection Committee. |
Registrar, KNRUHS, Warangal, Director of Medical Education, Hyderabad and Registrar, Telangana State Nursing Council, Hyderabad, shall take necessary action accordingly.
