Regional Cancer Centre Trivandrum Invites Applications for Post-Basic Diploma in Oncology Nursing
Trivandrum: The Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) has invited applications for admission into the Post-Basic Diploma in Oncology Nursing. The course is approved by Government of Kerala, Indian Nursing Council and Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNMC) and offered at the Centre for the academic year 2021-22.
Interested applicants are required to apply by 30th October 2021, according to the notice by RCC. In addition to this, the notice has also put forward the following eligibility criteria –
i) Applicants should be an Indian and should have Passed Plus two/Pre-degree with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
ii) Applicants should have passed B.Sc. Nursing or General Nursing and Midwifery.
iii) Applicant should possess RN/RM registration from Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.
iv) Upper age limit is 35 years as on 30.10.2021 for general merit candidates. Relaxation of five years in upper age limit will be given to all SC/ST candidates and of 10 years to service quota candidates.
Admission to the course will be on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in their qualifying examination (BSc Nursing/GNM), based on a common index system. Admission of the candidates under Service Quota will also be on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in their qualifying examination (BSc Nursing/GNM), based on a common index system, in the respective category.
Application can be submitted online latest by 5 pm on 30.10.2021 at https://www.rcctvm.gov.in/PBDON.php. The application fee is Rs. 500/- for general category and Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates, and should be drawn as a Demand Draft in favour of The Director, Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, payable at State Bank of India, Medical College Branch, Thiruvananthapuram or any of its service branches.
Completed print out of the application with supporting documents should reach 'The Director, Regional Cancer Centre, Medical College Campus, Thiruvananthapuram -695011' by registered/speed post by 4 pm on 6th November 2021.
