New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has a major OOPS moment today when after releasing newspaper notifications on NEET PG 2023, the NBE later withdrew it partly. Initially NBE announced the beginning of the date regarding online application for NEET PG 2023 in its newspaper advertisement as January 5th but later withdrew the same in its notice published on the natboard website.
Publishing the details regarding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Post Graduate (NEET-PG) 2023 in a leading newspaper, NBE had earlier announced that NEET PG 2023 would be conducted on March 5 of this year.
It had also mentioned that the online submission of the application form can be made from 5th January 2023 (3 PM Onwards) to 25th January 2023 (Till 11: 55 PM). The date of publication of results had been mentioned to be March 31, 2023.
According to the newspaper advertisement, January 5, i.e. today was also the date for publication of the Information Bulletin for NEET PG 2023. Soon, the news became viral and candidates started to expect the opening of portal for online submission of applications.
However, on its official website (https://www.natboard.edu.in), NBEMS issued another notice and clarified about the matter. Even though NBE confirmed that NEET PG 2023 would be conducted on March 5, 2023, it changed its previous announcement regarding the submission of online application from January 5.
"The notification for inviting online applications for NEET-PG 2023 shall be published in coming days. Please refer to the NBEMS website https://natboard.edu.in periodically in this regard," NBE mentioned in the notice.
"Kindly ignore the advertisement published in some newspapers today informing that the NEET-PG 2023 applications are invited from 5th January 2023 onwards," it further added.
