Entrance exams for BSc Paramedical Courses will be conducted at AIIMS Delhi: AIIMS Raipur issues notice

Raipur: All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS Raipur) has issued a notice regarding the conduction of the entrance exam to BSc paramedical courses.

As per the notice, the entrance exam for paramedical courses (B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology, B.Sc. in Medical Technology in Radiography, B.Sc. in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP), and B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology) will be conducted by AIIMS New Delhi.

The paramedical courses in AIIMS Raipur include –

1. B.Sc. In Operation Theater Technology

2. B.Sc. In Medical Technology In Radiography

3. B.Sc. in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP)

4. B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology

5. Advance Diploma In Radiotherapy Technology (ADRT)

6. B.Sc. Hons Nursing

The exam is conducted online (a computer-based test) and is conducted annually. Multiple choice questions (MCQs) are there in the exam. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.

Eligibility criteria for paramedical courses –

Candidates who have passed/appeared in 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics (as applicable for different courses) & have a minimum mark of 50% for Gen/ EWS/OBC and 45% in case of SCs/ STs Categories in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics (as applicable) of qualifying examination 10+2 or equivalent.
