Paramedical admissions: DME Assam releases list of selected Candidates from Tea Tribes Community
Assam: The Director of Medical Education (DME Assam) has released the list of candidates belonging to the Tea Tribes Community selected for undergoing Paramedical Diploma Training Courses for the 2022 session.
As per the notice, 33 candidates belonging to Tea Tribes Community are selected for admission into Paramedical courses in the Institute of Paramedical Sciences attached to the Medical Colleges of Assam for the 2022 session. The Director of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare has shared the list with DME.
The list includes Name of Student, Parent’s Name, Address, District, Stream, Total Marks of HS, Percentage of Marks, PCB%, and Course Applied For. The detailed list is enclosed in the notice below.
Now DME will take up the matter of allocation of seats to the selected candidates and will allocate seats as and when required on the basis of need-based requirements as per the seats reserved for Tea Tribes in the Institute of Paramedical Sciences under the Directorate of Medical Education, Assam. It also needs to inform the undersigned of the admission status of candidates who attend the counseling and admission process for the 2022 session on the scheduled date and time, which DME will fix.

The Directorate of Medical Education, Assam, Training and Research, Assam was established in 1984 under the control of the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam. It promotes expertise in medical science in different streams like Allopathic, Ayurvedic, and Homoeopathic medicine and paramedical science, and health care facilities to the people of Assam through different hospitals under the Directorate. It promotes research in the field of medical science in the state of Assam.
