Chandigarh: Through a recent notice, the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) has released a tentative vacancy position for the open round of counselling of sponsored candidates for admission to the MD/MS course July-2021 session which has been scheduled to be conducted on 17.09.2021.
The notice has also informed regarding the tentative seats available in various specialities including- Anesthesia and Intensive Care have 9 seats, biochemistry has 2 seats, Community medicine has 3 seats, Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) has 1 seat, Forensic Medicine has 1 seat, Microbiology has 4 seats, Pathology has 8 seats, Pharmacology has 4 seats, Radiotherapy and Clinical Oncology has 1 seat, Transfusion Medicine has 1 seat. Total seats for all these specialities are 34.
All the concerned candidates can view the list of vacancy position for the open round of counselling as follows:

Here are the following important instructions for the candidates:
1. The open round of physical counselling will be held on 17.09.2021 at 10:45 AM in the Bhargawa Auditorium, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
2. All the eligible sponsored candidates who have applied for PGIMER, Chandigarh and qualified INI-CET (July 2021) are required to appear in person at the said venue and time.
3. The candidates must possess a "No Objection Certificate" and "Sponsorship Certificate" failing which their candidature will not be considered.
4. Seats will be allocated as per merit in the INI-CET.
5. Seats that may fall vacant due to upgradation by any candidate on the day of counselling, will be filled on the spot as per merit.
6. Selected candidates will have to deposit course fee/security amounting Rs. 4470/- through the debit card on the spot to provisionally confirm their seat.
