Planning for PG Medical, Dental admission in Andhra Pradesh? Here is the tentative fee structure at Private Institutes this year
Amravati: Through a recent gazette notification, the Andhra Pradesh Health and Family Welfare Department has released the fee structure for PG medical and PG dental courses being offered at various private medical and dental colleges in the state this academic year.
The fee structure has been fixed for the academic year 2023–24 under section 7 of Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (APEI) (under Regulation of Admission and Prohibition of Capitation Fee) Act 1983. The tuition for these courses has been enhanced by 15% in comparison to the fees from the previous academic year, 2022–2023.
The fee structure released is tentative and the final fee fixation is subject to the outcome of a petition before the High Court.
All the concerned NEET PG and NEET MDS qualified candidates seeking PG medical/ dental admissions into Andhra-based medical and dental colleges are advised to check out the fee details mentioned below.
The admission will be done on the basis of three distinctive quotas.
A. For students opting for a Clinical Degree in medical sciences under Convenor Quota, the fee is INR 496800. The candidate seeking admission under the Management Quota has to pay fees of INR 993600, and for students taking admission in NRI quota the fees are of INR 5750000.
B. The fee arrangement for students enrolling in Para-Clinical Degree and Diploma programs within medical sciences exhibits variability corresponding to their quota status. While the Convenor Quota necessitates a payment of INR 155,250, those opting for the Management Quota must allocate a higher sum of INR 310,500. Prospective students vying for the NRI quota are expected to pay a fee amounting to INR 17,25,000.
C. Students selecting the Pre-Clinical Degree program in medical sciences encounter a fee structure that is contingent on their quota eligibility. Those qualified for the Convenor Quota need to pay INR 70,380 as fees, while applicants falling under the Management Quota have to pay a higher fee of INR 140,760. Students who secure admission via the NRI quota are subject to a fee of INR 920,000.

The fee structure for MDS courses is as follows:
A.The cost structure for students enrolling in dental sciences for clinical degrees varies based on their quota. Those eligible for the convenor quota will have to bear a cost of INR 341,550. On the other hand, applicants under the Management Quota are obliged to pay INR 683,100. Meanwhile, the NRI quota entails a tuition fee of INR 1,380,000 for admitted students.
B. The cost for students who want to pursue a para-clinical degree in medical sciences and who qualify for the convenor quota is INR 307395. While candidates who qualify for the Management Quota must pay INR 499790 in fees. The tuition for those who are admitted under the NRI quota is INR 805000.
This fee structure is applicable to private medical and dental colleges affiliated with the YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.
